Terms & Conditions

1. The Terms & Conditions applies to anyone visiting WapCar Auto Show Exhibition 2022 (hereinafter referred to as “event”) and participating in any activity related to the exhibition.

2. WAPCAR AUTOFUN SDN. BHD. (1427033-W) (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer“) , in our sole discretion and at any time, has the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice.


I. Gift Redemption

1. Invoices are not provided for car booking gifts, welcome gifts, car catwalk gifts, test drive gifts and event page sharing gifts. Gift is subject to the actual object that the customers receive. Once the gift is redeemed, it cannot be returned, exchanged, refunded or exchanged for cash or other promotions.

2. Organizer reserves the right to amend the “Gift Redemption” conditions. All the terms & conditions will be subject to the latest version of the “Gift Redemption” terms & conditions.

3. Organizer reserves the right of final decision on all questions and disputes related to the wheel spin game and gift redemption and according sessions at the event.


A. Car Booking Gifts

1. Gift Redemption Date for the first 300 successful bookings & first 50 successful bookings: 01 - 03 July, 2022 (Redeemable on the day itself, while the dates are valid provided that the number of successful bookings have not exceeded the stated numbers.)

2. When redeeming gifts for the first 300 successful bookings, customers will be required to present:

(1) Customer's MyKAD

(2) Vehicle booking form

(3) Reservation payment receipt

(4) Accompanied by the dealer's sales advisor

Failure to fulfil any of the above condition will result in the forfeiture of the gift.

3. For the Spin the Wheel game, if customers land on a gift that is out-of-stock (which counts as an invalid spin), they will spin again until they land on the next available gift. Invalid spins aside, the chances to spin the wheel are equal to the number of successful vehicle bookings. For example, if one customer has two successful bookings, the customer will get two chances for the spin.

4. Customers who are unable to attend the Spin the Wheel game will be represented by the attending sales advisor, who will spin the wheel on their behalf during the event and the results listed are final. The gifts will be given to customers upon car collection.

5. First come, first serve. The organizer will not be liable if a customer does not spin the wheel or redeem the gift in time after successful booking.

6. The gifts of Trapo New Car Starter Gift Box will be given to first 50 successful purchase customers upon car collection.

7. One lucky confirmed customer will be chosen from all the successful bookings placed during the event to win the Grand Prize - Ecocoat Kenzo Ceramic Coating. The winner will be announced on WapCar official Facebook Page publicly before 31 July, 2022. The winner will be contacted for prize redemption.

8. In the event of a booking cancellation by the winner of the Ecocoat Kenzo Ceramic Coating following the FB announcement, it be deemed ineligible and the prize will not be awarded. The organizer will thus reselect another eligible winner.

9. Ecocoat Kenzo Ceramic Coating is only valid for the specific car booked during the event and is not transferable.


B. Welcome Gifts

1. The distribution of 2,000 welcome gifts are based on the non-duplicate registration number. Duplicate registration will not be repeated to get gifts.


C. Test Drive Gift

1. Participants can participate in test drives as many times as they like, but each person can only submit 1 (one) rating for each vehicle model. The chance to win is the same no matter how many times you vote for the same model.

2. The gift will be sent out to winner within 1 week after the notification of winners. It will take up to 1 week or longer time for winners to receive the gift, subject to the delivery times by the courier services.


D. Page Sharing Gifts

1. The FB profile / post must be public and cannot be deleted after sending the screenshots to WapCar official Facebook account.

2. Winners need to redeem the gift on the spot during the event (01 - 03 July, 2022 from 10am to10pm) through the winner notification and the “page sharing” post on Facebook.

3. If the winner doesn’t come to the event to collect the prize within the time limits, the gift shall be regarded as voided.

4. If the “page share” post of the winner has been deleted when he redeems the prize or the “page share” post is not the winning post, the gift shall be regarded as voided.


II. Conduct & Liability at Event

1. When visitors participate in the event, they agree to abide by the regulations and rules of the event for visitors.

2. Visitors shall not do or allow to do anything that may cause chaos, nuisance, annoyance, inconvenience, injury or bodily and property damage on others, or anything that the organizer considers inconsistent with the regulations and rules of the event, or anything that may violate the regulations and rules of the event and related laws.

3. Visitors agree that the organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage (whatever the cause) of the visitors to their own or other people's property during the event, nor shall it be liable for the death or injury of the visitors in the process of coming / leaving to the event (excluding death and injury caused by the organizer's negligence beyond legal limits).

4. Visitors agree that the organizer shall not be liable for any product displayed or sold by exhibitors at the event, nor any problems or disputes between customers and exhibitors related to the transaction, including but not limited to product quality, service, contracts, etc. at the event.

5. Each visitor agrees to indemnify and hold the organizer harmless, on demand, against all claims, liabilities, losses, suits, proceedings, damages, judgments, expenses, costs (including legal fees) and charges of any kind howsoever incurred by or on behalf of or made against the organizer, its employees, agents and contractors.

6. Organizer holds the right to cancel or postpone the event due to force majeure. And iIf the event is canceled, postponed or with any change due to force majeure, the organizer will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, claim cost or expense. The force majeure referred to here includes but is not limited to: earthquakes, storms, floods or other natural disasters, plagues, wars, riots, hostile acts, prohibited by the government or public agencies, changes in national laws and regulations, policy adjustments, and other situations that cannot be foreseen, controlled and unavoidable.


III. Intellectual Property

1. The organizer is the sole owner of all materials provided by the organizer at the event. Unless otherwise specified in the conditions of use, anyone agrees not to use it for any commercial purpose at any time or in any way without the express prior written consent from the organizer.

2. The organizer is the sole owner of all related contents (images, articles, videos, etc.) produced by the organizer at the event. Unless otherwise specified in the conditions of use, anyone agrees not to use it for any commercial purpose at any time or in any way without the express prior written consent of the organizer.


IV. Privacy Notice about Event

1. This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for the event and only applies for this event.

2. To provide visitors with a better experience at the event, the organizer will ask to collect and process your personal data for the purposes of, including but not limited to, registering for you to join the event, learning about and meet your needs, and providing the services or products for you.

3. We will not provide your personal data to third parties without your consent, unless it is necessary to provide services or products related to this event through the personal data.

4. Organizer will record video or photograph at the event for the use of video and article (hereinafter known as the “contents“) production and publishment, and do not exclude to contain the footage of any visitor in the contents. Visitors understand and agree that the organizer is the sole owner of all rights to such contents, and has the right to own and use them. But visitors reserve the right to contact us to remove or edit the footage involving themselves in the contents.


V. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

1. The Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising under these terms & conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Malaysia.

2. If any provision of these terms & conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be deemed to be severable from those provisions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provision.

3. The failure of the event to enforce any right or provision of these conditions of use at any particular time or under any particular circumstance shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision at any future time or under any other or identical or similar conditions.
