PKP 3.0: Kerajaan rugi RM 1 bilion setiap hari kerana pelaksanaan PKP

Pelaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) 3.0 kali ini mencatatkan kerugian RM 1 bilion sehari, kata Perdana Menteri Malaysia Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yasin dalam Perutusan Khas Pelan Pemulihan Negara semalam.

Jika dibandingkan dengan PKP 1.0, negara mengalami kerugian harian lebih sekali ganda iaitu RM 2.4 bilion sehari. PKP 2.0 yang lebih longgar sekatannya dimana lebih banyak sektor ekonomi dibenarkan beroperasi, dan ini mengurangkan jumlah kerugian kepada RM 300 juta sehari, jelas Menteri Kewangan Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz terdahulu.

Muhyiddin berkata keputusan untuk melaksanakan PKP bukanlah satu keputusan yang mudah. Kebolehan negara untuk bebas daripada krisis pandemik COVID-19 ini dengan selamat adalah amat penting bagi kesihatan dan kelangsungan hidup rakyat.

Menurut unjuran dibuat oleh Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia, sekiranya PKP 3.0 tidak dilaksanakan, kes harian COVID-19 di negara kita boleh mencecah lebih 13,000 kes buat masa kini dan seluruh sistem kesihatan negara akan lumpuh.

Pakej stimulus ekonomi dan bantuan kewangan yang diumumkan menerusi Pemerkasa Plus baru-baru ini melihat kerajaan membelanjakan RM 40 bilion dengan suntikan langsung fiskal sebanyak RM 5 bilion.

Pemerkasa Plus merangkumi pelbagai peruntukan. Antaranya ialah RM450 juta bagi meningkatkan kapasiti katil dan peralatan ICU bagi rawatan COVID-19, penambahan kadar Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR), RM1 bilion bagi Skim Rehabilitasi Sewa Beli Bas dan Teksi, pelanjutan Program Subsidi Upah selama 1 bulan bagi semua sektor ekonomi yang terkesan dengan kos RM1.5 bilion, serta bantuan khas ‘one-off’ sebanyak RM 500 kepada 17 ribu pemandu pelancong, 40 ribu pemandu teksi, 11 ribu pemandu bas sekolah, 4 ribu bas persiaran dan 62 ribu pemandu kereta sewa dan e-hailing.
