Causes Analysis
If your car suffering weak acceleration, unstable idling, signifiant increase in fuel consumption, it might be due to fuel supply system is faulty. You may diagnose with the below ways:
1. Normally a soft electronic sound made by the fuel pump relay can be heard when starting the car, it should be heard for around 2 seconds. If the sound is not heard, it could be the fuel pump is faulty. Suggest to perform further diagnose at the workshop.
2. Open the car front bonnet, remove the red fuel hose connector from the engine and wrap it with a dry cloth or cotton, turn on the ignition switch till the meter cluster light up, observe if there is any fuel leak out from the hose. If there is no fuel leak out, maybe the hose is clogged, this action require 2 persons to perform simultaneously. Suggest to perform diagnose at the workshop.
3. If you are just done with an aggressive driving session or involved in an accident, it could be due to the collision activated the impact switch which the car fuel supply is cut. Suggest to open front bonnet and manually deactivate the impact switch.

1. Check the fuel tank, fuel suction hose, fuul supply and returning hose. Unclog it if found clogged or replace it.
2. Check the fuel injector, fuel filter and fuel pump, repair or replace if necessary.
3. Add ethanol fuel into the fuel tank and proceed with cold start, check if the problem is resolved.
