What is the intelligent calling function

[Wapcar]   The intelligent calling function is a function that allows the vehicle to move to the specific location where the drivers appoint in a driverless way. Let’s take Tesla as an example, the purpose of the intelligent calling function is to control your vehicle to go to your location( take phone GPS signal as the destination) or the location you appointed. This function will avoid obstacles and parking as needed. As same as the calling function, the intelligent calling function is only available in private parking areas and carriageways. You are still responsible for monitoring your car and pay attention to the surroundings in the whole process because cars might not detect the obstacles while you are using this function. So please be aware of the high-speed passers-by, bikes, and other cars in the surrounding.

You need to install the fully automatic driving system so that your car can respond to the calling and find your location wherever you’re in the parking lot. You will enter the intelligent calling interface by clicking the calling function in the Tesla APP on your phone. Make sure your car is within clear vision and check the surrounding of your car.

Presently, this function is also applied to other models such as the Leapmotor S01. With the popularization of auto-driving technology, there will be more and more models applying this function in the future and this technology will get better.
