Dinamikjaya Motors Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor of the Kia brand in Malaysia, has launched the locally assembled (CKD Kulim, Kedah) 11-seater variant of the 2023 Kia Carnival, priced from RM 215,228.80 However, from 1-November till 31-December 2023, all bookings for this variant will enjoy an introductory selling price of RM 198,500 inclusive of accessories. Dealers have announced that bookings for the locally-assembled (CKD Kulim) 2023 Kia Carnival 11-seater are now open, signalling that the model's official launch should be happening sometime soon. Technically the 2022 Kia Carnival (KA4) sits uncontested in Malaysia. Well yes it's an MPV, with lots of seats and a couple of sliding doors, but it's the only one you can buy new in its price range that's built solely for the people-carrying business that's not a sanitised version of a commercial van.
