I like the Outlander’s space, the boot measures 477 litres even before it is further expanded by folding down the third-row seats. And the sound proofing also earns a “perfect” from me.
Cons
Interior elements are not premium enough, looks quite old too.
Space
Cabin space and boot space are satisfying.
Besides, the powered tailgate is very convenient too.
Power
I made test drive to both 2.0 and 2.4. And
I bought the 2.4 version for its more powerful engine performance.
Ride & Handling
I don’t know if it’s just me or everybody,
droning from the CVT transmission could be quite obvious when at high speeds.
Despite that, the steering and handling are quite well for not being clumsy in
such dimensions.
Fuel Economy
The outlander has returned me a fuel
economy around 10-litre per 100 km.
Comfort
No rear AC vents, actually quite
unacceptable for a car come from 2018. But outlander has managed to remedy that
by the super quiet cabin and the super absorbing suspension setup.
Exterior
Exterior is pretty good, I think. There are
no exaggerating body lines or garish decorations, which is very suitable for a
low-profile man like me. Body size is right enough as an SUV and my 2.4 has the
LED headlights, which is also a good feature.
Interior
Interior doesn’t seem to be upmarket from
me but it can offer decent cabin and boot space for me.
