Overview

The 2020 Mitsubishi Xpander Malaysia will go up against the Honda BR-V and Perodua Aruz/Toyota Rush twins. Only one variant is offered, and it comes with leather seats, a dashcam, 360-degree view camera and of course, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support through its 9-inch touchscreen infotainment. It has a 1.5-litre MIVEC, naturally-aspirated petrol engine pushing 105 PS and 141 Nm through a four-speed automatic driving the front wheels.      

Exterior

We get the facelifted version, which means blocky Bi-LED headlights sitting in between the position lights and the round fog lamps. In addition, our Mitsubishi Xpander Malaysia has a shark fin antenna, L-shaped LED combination rear lights and 16-inch wheels.

Boot space is a maximum 1,630 litres when the second- and third-row seats are folded flat. With the third-row seat up, it is 495 litres.
