Nissan Terra – Overview
History
The Nissan Terra is a mid-size SUV produced by Nissan. This car is based on the Navara D23 pickup truck. The car was first introduced in China in April 2018 and was unveiled at the Auto China auto show in Beijing that same month. In China, this car is marketed by Dongfeng Nissan.
Currently the Terra is positioned in size between the X-Trail/Rogue compact crossover and the Patrol/Fleet large-size SUV and competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Ford Everest, Chevrolet Trailblazer and Isuzu MU-X. This car replaces the Paladin in China. On 28 May 2018, Terra was launched in the Philippines. This car gets the option of a 2.5 liter diesel engine. Compared to the Chinese version, it is 15 mm (0.6 inches) wider, 3 mm (0.1 inches) longer and 7 seats (versus 5). This car is offered in five trim options.
New generation
The Nissan Terra 2021 is the automaker’s latest take on a full-sized SUV that packs upon seating capacity of up to seven occupants inside. The car that has a magnificent road presence is a king when it comes to the space inside its smartly designed cabin.
Further, Nissan’s V-Motion structure design provides the Terra with a sport and aggressive finish that is accompanied by LED daytime running lights. In terms of its powertrain, the Terra is powered by a single 2.5L diesel engine, available throughout the lineup. The powertrain configuration is able to churn up a total of up to 187 hp of power, besides giving out 450 Nm of peak torque.
Price
The Terra is priced between ₱1.719 Million and ₱2.409 Million.
