With the Daihatsu Terios receiving a facelift more than a week ago in Indonesia, it might seem possible that the same design update would be given to the Perodua Aruz in Malaysia albeit not this year. However, the Toyota Rush might not be given a revamp and instead will soldier on in its current form which was introduced back in 2018. There were rumours that the Rush would be discontinued to make way for the DNGA-based Toyota Yaris Cross but those turned out untrue. According to Anton Jimmi Suwa

First launched in 2019, the Perodua Aruz is due for a mid-lifecycle update. There was a very minor specs update in 2021, adding side steps, new Passion Red colour, and auto door lock, with no change in styling. This facelifted 2023 Daihatsu Terios that was launched in Indonesia today could provide some hints to our upcoming Perodua Aruz facelift. The Daihatsu Terios / Toyota Rush are sister cars to the Perodua Aruz. Typical for a mid-lifecycle update, there is no change to the powertrain. The 2N
