Locally assembled (CKD) at the Stellantis plant in Gurun, Kedah, the Peugeot 408 will soon make its awaited launch in Malaysia. The model has been imported to Thailand since late last year but while the Thai-spec 408 is available with both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and petrol powertrains, only the latter could be available in Malaysia. According to preliminary information from dealers, the 1.6-litre turbocharged PureTech engine could be offered across three variants – Allure, Premium, and GT. The tu
Stellantis has topped Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW to become Europe’s most profitable automaker in 2023. The holding company that owns Peugeot, Citroen, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, and more, recorded 24.34 billion Euros in operating profit in 2023. Data compiled by Automotive News Europe puts Stellantis’ operating profit well ahead of the Volkswagen Group (22.6 bil Euros), BMW (18.48 bil Euros), Mercedes-Benz (19.66 bil Euros). Of the quartet of European manufacturers mentioned
Making its global debut yesterday is this, the 2024 Peugeot e-5008. It joins an increasingly growing market of 7-seater BEVs (but not just that, more on this below), and is set to begin European sales by September this year. Up front is the new Peugeot family face that's also seen in the e-3008, coming with a refreshed take on the light claws flanking the new grille. LED lights are standard, Pixel LEDs are available on the highest GT variant, and there's a set of excellently eye-catching wheels
Thailand-based RMA Special Vehicles has been appointed as the Official Stellantis Modifier and Converter for all Stellantis vehicles in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Middle East & African (MEA) markets, the company announced recently. In other words, the company will be the one able to customise everyday vehicles into fit-for-purpose uses, such as this Peugeot Landtrek now being a Mobile Service Vehicle. Presumably, this partnership will benefit for fleet buyers, who are then able to purchase thes
The Stellantis Malaysia National Sales Company (Stellantis Malaysia) has officially started operations as of 1-March 2024. Stellantis Malaysia will be the Stellantis Group’s official entity directing and managing marketing, sales, distribution and aftersales of Peugeot vehicles in Malaysia, and potentially other Stellantis brands (Citroen, Jeep, and Alfa Romeo?) in the future. New Peugeot vehicles sold by Stellantis Malaysia no longer come with the ‘Peace of mind 5+5’ package. The 5-year warranty and 5-year free service package was offered by previous distributor Bermaz Auto Alliance (BAA). Effective 29-February 2024, the Peugeot brand in Malaysia will be handled directly by Stellantis themselves. Instead of the previous 5+5 package, customers will now receive a longer 3+4 years extended warranty, but no free service. Warranty in the first 3-years will be covered by S

2019 Peugeot 3008 THP Plus Active

Pros
- Steering & control is easy for a new driver - Linear acceleration is impressing thanks to the turbocharged engine - Sound proofing is pretty good, hard to hear noise even at 150km/h speed - Exterior design is beautiful with solid build quality - 3008 can offer me sufficient power
Cons
- Space design is not so reasonable, cubby space is not actually enough - Fuel economy is a bit too high

2019 Peugeot 3008 THP Plus Allure

Pros
Generally speaking, I like 3008’s exquisite exterior, the stylish chrome detail and the lion-paws-like tail lamps look so fashion.
Cons
Tyre size is too small, which looks a bit top-heavy. I think Peugeot could have refined it. And the Auto Start/Stop is also stupid, why don’t we just shut it down forever.
