I bought 1.3 Exec in June 2019, and I thought it was a good purchase then and now. One year later, I still think this car is very cost-effective. The driving experience is strong and the cost is low. Comfort is the same as my dad's new A45. The seat height is a bit high, but it gives me a better view on the road. Sound insulation has also been greatly improved compared with previous iterations. Similarly, I can compare it with A45. Iriz engineers also pay attention to details. When it rains, I put the rear window wiper in reverse mode, and it will turn on automatically. When the vehicle stops, the wiper will also slow down. Great attention to detail. The vehicle performs well at the corner because the chassis feels hard and strong. So far, the only problem I have faced is to find the right windshield for windows. Buyers need to be aware that the window deflector of model year 2012-2018 cannot be correctly installed on the refurbished version of 2019. CVT feels similar to Honda CVT, and it is a little behind when shifting gears (about half a second). It takes time to adjust when driving Iriz with Punch CVT, because I used to drive Prius 2012. Hybrid electric vehicles have instant high torque, which makes them from standstill. I hope Proton can adapt to this technology soon.
