1. Decent-powered engine
2. Nice power steering feedback
3. Very good handling
4. Comfortable seats
5. Good turning radius
Cons
1. Poor NVH with rattling dashboard and loud exhaust
2. Jerky CVT in stop-and-go traffic
3. Fuel consumption is a bit high
4. Overheating issue due to rust radiator
Space
The space inside isn’t that spacious. Not too cramp either.
Power
Although during low speed the clutch based punch CVT just fails horribly. The initial pickup from stop and go is surprisingly good. The lag isn’t that bad. Proton punch CVT is certainly not boring at all. You can feel the clutch based CVT has good speed acceleration.
Ride & Handling
For the price, there is nothing better. What Proton offer in handling is more than sufficient to give you smile when you take twisty roads and corners. Braking is nothing to shout about. Just sufficient to get the job done.
Fuel Economy
The average mileage with a full tank is 400-450 km in the city. Strangely, fuel economy on highways is worse. Mainly because the CVT revs too high at fast speeds.
Comfort
The suspension has been tune just nice for Malaysian road and seats are very comfortable. Long trips will be less tiring due to this seat support design. But the NVH is just poor that lots of noise can be heard inside the cabin.
