Great inner space for the Proton Saga thanks to its large dimensions! And the plush ride quality strengthens the comfort for both drivers and passengers! I have driven for Proton Saga for long-distance use and the soft suspension setup makes my long-distance journey very comfortable.
Cons
The most unbearable thing of Proton Saga is that it lacks a number of comfort and convenience features. I could not find the Android Auto connectivity inside and if I want to use the Easy Connect for Android MirrorLink-like feature, I have to keep my phone’s screen on all the time.
Space
I have mentioned that the cabin space for
Proton Saga is very big. I can stretch my legs freely when sitting at the rear
seats. The inner space is just so impressive.
Power
Proton Saga could power out a moderate
power. I have tested myself that the Saga took around 14 seconds to reach 100
km/h. Acceptable for Proton Saga’s price range. After all, I wouldn’t drive it
for a race.
Ride & Handling
The ride quality of Proton Saga is also at
the average level in its segment. The control and steering of Proton Saga is
generally precise and acceptable.
Fuel Economy
Well, the fuel economy of Proton Saga is OK
but not surprising. I have collected a 5.5-litre / 100km on the highway but
once I went to the city, the fuel economy will soon rise to around 8-litre /
100km. But it is still acceptable for me as far.
Comfort
Very comfortable, as I said, the soft
suspension will make both driver and passengers feel comfortable. And the
spacious cabin also contributes to Proton Saga’s comfort.
Exterior
I think the Proton Saga would not use its
exterior as its unique selling point because its exterior is definitely not
outstanding. Even a bit out of date.
Interior
Same problem with its exterior. It looks
too old inside. I even doubt that the Proton Saga’s interior was designed in
the last century.
