The Avanza looks much sleeker thanks to the side skirts and the rear bumper. It actually looks like a Toyota Alphard or Vellfire sometimes from some angles.
Cons
I’d like to remind everybody that it’s already 2020 and there is no crucial electronic stability control on the Avanza, which is a very basic safety feature.
Space
Sitting 7 people is what the Avanza made
for so I will get a pretty decent interior space inside.
Power
Toyota Avanza is pretty light actually so
its acceleration is pretty fast. Power is OK but needs to plan the overtaking
carefully.
Ride & Handling
Steering is light so I can manoeuvre the
“giant” car quite easy. The rear-wheel-drive system also help to a gentle and
nimble turn.
Fuel Economy
From my currently 500 km drive, it returns
me 7.7-litre per 100 km. I think it should be economical for an MPV.
Comfort
Road noise from tyres and wind are hard to
be heard so the ride experience is pretty comfortable. Every time my family
goes for a long-distance trip, my children will quickly fall asleep.
Exterior
It’s a big car, it looks like Alphard and
great thing is it has LED headlamps as standard.
Interior
So big inside, but the design of its
interior is too simple and I think it’s a bit out of date actually.
