The exterior design looks sleeker and edgier, which has given me an upmarket and premium feeling. Also, the dashboard looks quite modern and stylish, I like it pretty much.
Cons
Power is not sufficient, which may be a turn down for many buyers. Sometimes it would take quite a lot effort to make overtakings.
Space
I can have ample space inside the Innova, the
seats layout is quite reasonable, second and third row have 3 seats each. And
the boot space can reach to 300 litres before the seats are folded.
Power
Acceleration is not fast because of its
heavy weight. And the power delivery is not so responsive. Compared with my
friend’s Nissan Serena S-Hybrid, my Innova seems to be weaker in power.
Ride & Handling
The design of Innova’s steering feels
adequate and well weighted. Driving a car in this size would not be so agile
but that is expected before I buy this car.
Fuel Economy
For my nearly 5000 km drive, my 2.0G
returns me a fuel consumption around 9-litre / 100 km. Not bad, I think.
Comfort
Comfort on the Toyota Innova should beyond
all doubts. Both its sound proofing and seat comfort are good for passengers.
The dealer told me the current version is much quieter than the previous
version. The materials used inside feel comfortable too.
Exterior
Exterior looks very premium; dimensions are
just at the right size and the lightings are sharp too.
Interior
My 2.0G gets faux wood trim bits around the
dashboard, which is good for being elegant. And the interior space is pretty
large for a family that consist of 8 people, like mine.
