The 2019 Honda City is the best selling non-national car in Malaysia. The B-segment sedan has dominated the market since its launch in 2014 when it made its arrival with VSC and traction control making it the safest car in its class compared to rivals Toyota Vios and Mazda 2. And the strength of the upcoming 2020 Honda City is only increasing. The current City's 1.5-litre engine dispenses 120 PS and 145 Nm. In 2017, Honda also introduced a Hybrid variant that produces 139 PS and 170 Nm combined and has a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. (Toyota Vios vs Honda City; How do they compare?)
As you might have already know, the latest fifth generation Honda City has just gone on sale in Thailand earlier this year. Honda’s B-segment sedan will now one-up its chief rival the Toyota Vios with an all-new 1.0-litre turbocharged engine. The latest Honda City is not expected to be launched in Malaysia until 2021. We are here at the 2019 Thailand International Motor Expo. The highlight of the show is of course, the all-new 2020 Honda City.Viewed in metal, the all-new Honda City looks really good, which is a surprise because initial impressions from the press photos weren’t great.Like many of today’s cars, the all-new Honda City’s exterior styling cannot be appreciated in a two dimensional photo. The all-new City’s Civic-esque styling has a lot of edgy, sharp character lines that can

The hottest car segment is undeniably the B-segment sedans. You can’t talk about the Honda City without mentioning the Toyota Vios and likewise. But have you ever compared the two cars’ equipment list side by side? For this comparison, we compare the range topping Toyota Vios G variant against the Honda City V variant and City Hybrid as well.Toyota made a huge mark when they debuted the Vios in 2003, but the third generation, unfortunately, let the model down allowing the City to
