I have written articles about meeting Yuvraj Singh and Rana Daggubati, both of whom were extremely nice and humble. However, this answer will be about another celebrity who was remarkably humble, no-fuss, with no airs. And ladies and gentlemen, that’s ,Saina Nehwal. Before I speak about my experience meeting her, here’s a little trivia about her : Saina Nehwal ,is an Indian professional ,badminton, singles player. A former world no. 1, she has won over 24 international titles, which includes eleven ,Super-series, titles. Although she reached the world's 2nd in the 2009, it was only in 2015 that she was able to attain the world no. 1 ranking, thereby becoming the only female player from India and overall the second Indian player – after ,Prakash Padukone, – to achieve this feat. She has represented India three times in the ,Olympics,, winning a bronze medal in her second appearance, I met her as she was the brand ambassador of the company I used to work with, and she was the Chief guest at the gold tournament we sponsored. Since the event took place in Bombay, I was in charge of taking care of her. As someone who has managed celebrities previously, I was absolutely amazed at how down to earth she was. Now the thing is most celebrities need at least a BMW 7-series to travel locally and a special trailer/ vanity van. But Sania Nehwal was refreshingly different. She arrived, clad in a simple T-shirt and jeans, flashing her million dollar smile, in a Honda Civic. She made no demands to be put up in a special vanity van, but instead was okay getting a room at the Bombay presidency gold club in Mumbai to change and freshen up. Additionally, I was surprised that she didn’t even need a make-up/ hair artist for the ceremony. PS : Let me tell you that most celebrities (no matter what field they are from) like having access to all of the above, because that is the norm. Additionally, after distributing the trophies, she made sure that she obliged every single person who asked her for a picture. Including each photographer. That’s me with her, circa sometime in ,2014.
I’m guessing you only began following his career recently, or at best when The Apprentice came on, as this wasn't Pres. Trump’s first time out of the gate at all. He had previously tipped his hat for other parties, including the Democrats, as a branding exercise as much as anything else. As to whether he’s intelligent or not: that entirely depends on what your metric for intelligence. Personally, I don’t much store in the ability to make money as being a gold-standard, as I’ve met plenty of people down through the years whose ability to gather money was inversely proportionate to their intelligence. My two favourite examples is the person, who was flummoxed by a house with no doorbell (knocking was beyond them) and I was once overtaken on a blind bend by two middle aged men: one in a BMW 7-series overtaking a Merc SLK who was overtaking me! Rich and thick like double cream! Back to the POTUS, I think that once upon a time he could actually be a very insightful person- but it always appeared to be the through the filter of what’s good for Donald Trump. That *may* be fine and dandy when you're just accumulating wealth, but is it really what the citizenry needs in a public servant? I think he’s probably like GW Bush who had a very black-or-white/ good-guys-vs-bad-guys view of the world, which may make for a simple narrative, it just isn't how the world works, and can (and has) led to serious policy disasters, like Iraq. Oh, and it's “could've” or “could have”.

Things you can learn from people of Tamil Nadu(especially, Chennai) - 1) Simple living high earning! I have seen many wealthy Tamilians, yet they look overwhelmingly simple. The same white colored "Lungi" and/or "Veshti" with perfectly ironed white color Shirt. That is all. ,2) All that glitters is actually gold- People have an amazing fetish for gold over there. We can see many women wearing allot of gold around their body. Many Tamilian families do have their investments high up stake in this genre. That is why Malabar gold, Muthoot finance etc. are very popular over there. 3) Cosmopolitan- There is this place in Chennai known as Nugambakkam, which is entirely established and colonized by ,Marwari,'s. Needless, to say Chennai has been ranked as the 9th best cosmopolitan city in the world. Sources -,Chennai named 9th best cosmopolitan city in the world 4) Obsession for luxurious cars- While this can be seen in many parts of the country, but the kind of obsession Tamlians have is uncanny. You can see Aston Martin, BMW 7 series etc. in every second parking-lots. Further, the obsession is so simplistic, that you cannot differentiate between the driver and the owner of the car(both have same attire). 5) Manufacturing Industries and Technology- The automotive industry of Chennai comprises 30% of the India's automobile and 35% of India's automotive assembly parts. ,Automotive industry in Chennai, has a wonderful, state-of-the-art assembly plant in India for BMW 3 and 5 series. 6) The Art and the culture- Call it a stereotype, but this is what I have observed in very many Tamilian families- Every boy must be into arts, dramatics, and music and every girl in the house must be into classical dancing(especially, ,Bharata Natyam,). Plus, Chennai has ,KM Music Conservatory,, which is a higher education institution founded by ,A. R. Rahman,, that provides various part time as well as full time courses related to Hindustani, Western Classical Music and Music technology. 7) Chettinad food- Though, my answer was completely biased towards one city of Tamil Nadu(Chennai), but I think, I would like to add the populiarity of Chettinad food. Well, Chetinad is a region lies in the district of Sivaganga , in Tamil Nadu. People from the land of Kariakudi, whom I have interacted personally, claimed that, this food is popular outside India as well. You can find many restaurants going by "Chetinad food" menus. UPDATE - As ,Sravanthi Mogili, pointed out. Soucarpet is actually the place colonized by Telugu's and Marvadis. However, I have seen many colonizers of Nungabakkam happen to be Marvadis. But, yes Soucarpet also been populated by Telugus & Marvadis.
If you are in the SF Bay Area, LA, NY, Palm Springs, Palm Beach, Hamptons, etc. you need to go to S class or BMW 7 series. In other parts of the US, and entry level will do well, unless you are dealing with real gold diggers or car buffs. Think of the movie Pretty Woman, and the Kit De Luca character played by Laura San Giacomo, who knew what a Lotus was and told Julia Roberts the guy must be rich. The car used in the film was a Lotus - Ferrari was asked to provide a car, but they declined... By the way, no one has ask WHY you want to look like a rich jerk. What does that say about the Quora community ?
I’ll tell you this, it should hopefully be a perfect example of how cars are designed and manufactured. The Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7-Series is what I consider to be the gold-standard of cars, not that I’m playing favorites, but because I respect what they are all about. Now, I’m talking about the highest S-Class, and the highest 7-series, I’m talking S65 and M760. Cars that easily reach $200k+ but aren’t race cars or rolling examples of unnecessary opulence. These $200k cars are the best a car can be while still serving their most basic purpose of getting you around. They’re safe, comfortable, smooth, quiet, fast, solid, handle great, luxurious, exclusive, and built with every last bolt and stitch in mind. They are the best that the present has to offer. That much time, effort, materials, and engineering went into that price. So when you go out and buy a car with a sticker price of only $150k, $100k, $50k, $25k, $15k, etc., the manufacturer had to find ways to get that price down. Suddenly, your seats aren’t leather, your control arms aren’t milled from a solid billet, your headlights aren’t Adaptive Lasers, your tires aren’t $300 a corner, your door panels are held on by plastic clips, your speakers are made from paper cones, and your interior is made from injection molded plastic. The manufacturer had to figure out a way to make a car that is suitable for your needs and price range by making sure it could be produced cheaper and quicker. Not saying there’s anything wrong with a cheap car, I have a Sentra and Elantra in my personal Fleet, but you get what you pay for.
There are plenty of credit cards that are black that have nothing to do with elevated status -- it's just a design element. I have a few of these. Occasionally, store clerks and waitstaff will make a comment about it. I happened to get this card early, so mine has a lot of zeros in the card number, which makes it more impressive: If you have a Capital One credit card, you can also upload your own image. You can probably create something that looks especially fancy or elite. (Sorry, no nudity. And, yes, they do check.) This is the image I put on mine: If you're gold digging an American Express Centurion, Visa Infinite or American Express Platinum card will have a high but imperfect correlation to wealth. (AMEX has other cards with Platinum in the name such as the Platinum Delta SkyMiles card -- it's not the same tier. Other card issuers use Platinum indiscriminately.) Here is what the AMEX Centurion looks like: and the AMEX Platinum: It's the same design as the Centurion, but in a different color. As with most things wealth related, it comes down to a matter of priorities and desire to flaunt it. You can make $100,000 a year and drive a BMW 7-series and make $10,000,000 and drive a Honda. AMEX has been soliciting me to get a Platinum card for at least 12 years and I finally accepted in December because the benefits outweighed the $450 annual fee. (I still use other cards more.) For the AMEX black card, there's a one-time joining fee of $5,000 and annual fee of $2,500. I'm actually more impressed and interested when I use this card and the person on the other end recognizes it:
Proper tires are the second most important thing when driving on snow. The most important thing is something you can’t buy, and no dealership or factory can supply: keeping your mind on the driving. Not on the phone, or the radio, or what’s for dinner. If I was to choose between an old “barge” with RWD, no ABS, no traction control and automatic transmission, but proper winter tires, vs a brand new AWD sports car with all sorts of electronic assistance, but on all-seasons or summer tires, I’d always pick the old barge. Living in Norway (you may have heard of us, small country way up north, never does much worth mentioning, except doing clean sweeps of gold medals at every Winter Olympics), we do get proper winters, and I’ve over the years been able to sample a wide variety of cars more or less appropriately equipped for winter conditions. Turns out that an old Volvo 240 on studded winter tires can pass safely where a BMW X5 and a Volvo XC90, both AWD and on all-season tires, ended up wrecked in the ditch. Also turns out that an ,old, BMW 7-series (no ESP or such, ABS only) could pass safely where an Audi A6 quattro on summer tires ended up kissing a wall.
The interesting thing about watches is, especially mens watches, that the design doesn't always match the engine, I call it the engine, real time piece lovers refer to it as the movement. Imagine this: driving a car that looks like a BMW 7 series or Bentley but with engine of a 1984 Fiat Uno. It applies in the extreme for watches. Here are some examples below: The Role Submariner (costing between $5k -$8k) Ofcourse we don't all have that kind of money so let's opt for something cheaper but cool looking: Gigandet (on Amazon) offers a range of watches that look remarkably like the rolex above the only difference you can buy them for $80-$150. If you look at the specs you will see the difference: Rolex Submariner Specs (click ,here, to read) Gigandet Diver Specs (click ,here, to read) The prices between the two are obvious but there is good reason for it. Watches and Time pieces alike carry a huge margin. The premium brands (like Rolex) often have high quality materials (gold, silver, top quality bracelets etc.) Add to it the marketing and make of the brand and you'll be suprised how relatively pricey some watches can be in comparison to their build and make. The movement often tells you the real quality of the watch as do other material's. If you want to know more about watch movements, read ,this little article ,it will help you. Which brands are underrated? ,Check out this video Top 10 Underrated Watch Brands 2016 Here are the overrated brands The 10 most Overrated Watch Brands People sometimes buy expensive watches without really knowing why, which is a petty. If you do like your watches but lack the funds. Spend time on finding the real deals out there. be careful for fakes and learn to spot them. How to Identify a Fake Watch That is it from me.
