There’s a lovely nice house a stones throw a way from mine that would make a nice upgrade. 9 bed detached house for sale in Woodlands Hall, West Avenue, Roundhay, Leeds, West Yorkshire LS8 - Zoopla By the time I’ve paid SDLT (tax) the house would be roughly £2.2 million I spend another £800k-1.5 million completely refurbishing the building. This would also include building other cool stuff like a panic room. I’d then get a lift installed in the garage for my car collection (£300k) Home Garage Lifts - Lubrication Equipment 1.LaFerrari (£2 million) (this is more for investment than anything else or so I want to believe) 2. BMW M5 (£100k) 3. Aston Martin DBS (£300k) 4. Lamborghini Aventador SV (£500k) 5. Range Rover Vogue SVR LWB (£150k) 6. Mercedes sprinter van (with the interior ripped out and customised completely) (approx £500k) 7. A (relatively!) cheap 5 series to drive to uni and back (£50k) without drawing a huge amount of suspicion (its my parents car for example) 8. A 17 seater van - my extended family often go on holidays around the country, Cornwall, Wales, Lakes, Dales etc (£100k) 9. Nothing says I’ve arrived like a Roller - I’d get a Phantom and chauffeur (only for driving to and fro to events and such) probably worth hiring one for how little I’ll use it (£10k a day hire x 2/3 times a year) Gifts I’d buy 4 relatives a house (house each) (£4 million) I’d buy those relatives gifts (£100k) I wouldn’t want my friends/extended family to know so I’d tell them I bought my house cheap as it was dilapidated and slowly did it up as I could save - my parents paid for the house etc I’d buy my dad a 911 Porsche (£120k) I’d buy my mum an M4 (£80k) I’d let my brother buy anything he wanted for a day whether that be tech, games, anything (£20k) Then I’d move onto my ,watch collection,: Rolex Daytona (not a solid gold one as that’s far too flashy for me) (£60k) Rolex ‘Hulk’ sub (£20k) A. Lange & Sohne Tourbograph Pour Le Merite 712.05, ,(£250k) Omega SMP Chrono (£5k) Patek Philippe calatrava (£40k) Patek Philippe grand complications (£500k) A nice cheapy Seiko to wear to airports Experiences,: I’d like to travel the world a bit maybe explore India again, then Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, China (maybe not now though) USA, Canada, UAE, South America, and finally in and around Europe before heading back home. Including hotels, flights, car hire, eating out etc it’d probably cost me £200k (staying in very nice hotels but flying economy except for the long haul flights (7hrs plus) Take flying lessons (£50k) Tech,: On my extensive travels I’ll probably take a lot of photos, so I’d buy an iPhone 11 Max (if that’s what apple decide to call it) in its most expensive iteration.(£2000) My MacBook is very new (less than a year old) but instead of having to put photos on an external drive I’d probably trade it in for the most expensive iteration (I’d need the storage space) (£6000) I’d make my own NAS - not really that expensive anyway, £5k would be more than enough to set up a Raid 5 array ensuring that even if one drive would fail all data is recoverable. Property As well as my main residence I’d look at potentially buying property abroad, my only issue is I doubt I travel enough to warrant the expense and would expect NY real estate to be far far out of my price range anyway. I suppose I’d settle for a small house on the St Lucia beach front. (£500k) Miscellaneous,: There’s probably something I’ve missed so £50k And finally an assistant to keep track of everything like when the lambo’s insurance is going to lapse. (£40k a year) All in all, just shy of 12,500,000 if I won the £180 million quid jackpot, I’d invest £40 million in a proper balanced portfolio of stocks, gold, a few index funds a bit in leveraged ETFs. Invested relatively well 7.5% is attainable with some work, works out a bit over £432k a year - more than enough to live on. That leave me with £107,500,000, I’m an aspiring lawyer so I’d probably use some of the money to build up my own firm. There’s a nice building for sale in the city centre for £40 million quid I’d probably get a mortgage given how expensive it is and any interest can be written off. I’d donate a significant amount to various charities, maybe even set one up of my own to help shelter and feed homeless people, some money to Alzheimer’s research and some to Cancer research, I’d make a donation to my local hospital (£47,5000,000 donated) I’d probably donate it over x number of years rather than a lump sum. I really have no idea what I’d do with the rest - other than sat around to leave to my (unborn) children I have absolutely no clue. Maybe set up a trust enabling them to withdraw some money every 10 years? Something like £2 million quid would mean they’d have plenty of money to own nice things, but that would depend on what they are like - it’s a lot of money and I wouldn’t want them to squander it or worse. I’d probably do something similar for my grandchildren. I’d donate some money to Leeds (my city) university to buy some kind of influence there allowing my children to study their should they choose to.
