The S7 on the road, and I'm a BMW Fan. Angel is right, you do get more "g" in the corner but that doesn't mean everything. When you're on the road everyday, it's possible to achieve that amount of grip on the M4, but there are lots of factors to take in place. 1. ,Weather,: If the weather is rainy/snowy and the road is wet, the S7 wins due to Audi's Quattro system. The AWD system will be able to grip a lot easier on these wet roads compared to an RWD car. 2. ,Powertrain,: 400hp+ is a lot of power in a car. In the BMW, it's very likely that too much power to the rear wheels will cause it to lose traction and maybe even spin out. The Audi will not have this problem at all, since it is AWD so all four wheels get power. Additionally, if the tires are cold on the BMW, it's very possible that stepping on the throttle will cause it to completely spinout. BMW M4 Crash @ CARS & COFFEE Blackhawk 2015, 3. ,Launch,: The AWD system on the Audi makes it launch a lot faster than any RWD car, not just a BMW. Yes the BMW might have a similar or even faster 0-60 time, but the Audi will always launch perfectly from a standing start, and will always smoke the BMW.
YES, ford mustang reliable car Strong in other disciplines, too How did the Mustang do around a tight autocross? I took it to one, and again walked away high thanks to its tight turn-in ability, not to mention how easily the rear swung around just by goosing the throttle. Eventually, the autocross turned into a drift course, where the Mustang's power and balanced handling character were an absolute riot to play with. It was so, so easy to get things sideways with total control. Sadly, I didn't get to a drag strip to run the car through the complete gamut of motorsports disciplines. That's a shame because the Mustang's standard line-lock feature could have helped me turn in marginally more respectable quarter-mile times with warm rear rubber. However, and only in the name of thorough testing, I did activate line lock once or twice and can report that the Michelin produce a killer smoke show and are indeed sticky after. High street cred Away from the race track, the was up for any task. With its suspension in Normal, damping for regular commutes around town were plenty compliant, and a roundtrip jog from Detroit to Chicago ferrying two adults and two four-legged friends was handled without complaint. ford’s familiar sync 3 system took care of infotainment functions with a responsive 8-inch touchscreen to control navigation, a respectable 12-speaker Shaker Pro audio system, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth and both apple CarPlay and menus aren't the most visually compelling but were intuitive to work through. Visually, some Roadshow staffers couldn't get behind the 2018 model year facelift and called the new nose droopy in comparison to the previously sleek and sporty front end. Inside, however, we all loved the vibrant red seats, especially against the grey exterior. Even one McDonald's drive-thru worker had a number of nice things to say as she passed two Happy Meals through the window. Performance value champ After handing over the keys to the Mustang following a couple of action-packed months, I mostly look back on our time together with fond memories. They romp around GingerMan, using line lock to light up the tires and drifting around the autocross -- all of these things make me smile. But for all of those cases, I wish our car had the manual transmission. The automatic, well, sucked. That aside, the Mustang continues to be one of the best bang-for-your-buck performance values on the market today, especially considering its $35,000 starting price. Stepping up to the Premium trim for more features and tacking on the Performance Package along with a few more options turns it into a $50,000 car, which doesn't actually seem that crazy. In fact, it's still a pretty good deal for a car that's this rewarding to drive. Line it up against A BMW M4, and I'll take the Mustang every time.
Subaru Wrx Sti, ,3oo bhp / 407 nm, awd 6v manual 0-100 (0-60) 5.2 top: 255km/h 10.4l/100km 1.482kg topgear score 17/20 I dont consider being AWD being worse then RWD its harder but doesnt mean excatly less fun, it's also more safe and u can drive all season. Which u def want if ur looking for an daily sports car it also has alot of backspace (460l). The new models are also very modest in looks. ,BMW M235I, ,326 bhp / 450 nm, rwd 8v automatic (not sure if its possible to still get in manual/semi) 0-100km/h 4.8 top:250 km/h 6.2l/100km 1.530kg Need i say more? M series are considerd being top notch if not best of the best. Tbh i suggest u test a M5 which is probaly the best of the M series but if u think its too heavy, which i disagree u should check out the lighter and smaller versions (new M1,M2 and M4) Maserati ghibli, ,330 bhp / 500 nm, rwd 8v automatic(semi optional i think) 0-100 5s top: 285 9.6l/100km 1.710kg Both the ghibli and the quatroporte are possible (used though) they look staggering!!! and are know for an extremely fun drive. They are not as good as let's say porsche at track racing but more fun being easier to slide around corners. Also perfect if u do alot of miles and let's not forget its a maserati... ,Mercedes CLA AMG, ,360 bhp / 450 nm, awd 7v (flippers!) 0-100 4.6 top:250 6.9l/100km 1.485 AMG are known for their extremely fun drive, easy to slide and to smoke your tires.Trackstandards this is probaly the best car i mentioned ,*optional ,subaru brz / toyota gt 86, ,200 bhp manual, ,which isn't a really fast car but it is produced for driver fanatics, its a rwd with thin tires ( prius) making this car very easy to slide/drift at very low speeds. It's really just made for fun. I did not include any Audi's because all audi rs versions are hooked up with their quattro system, if u dont mind it being awd i suggest u check out the A1 quattro (which is a beast) and the tt rs (used) The jaguar Xf 3.0 (350 bhp) would be too heavy, 1.770 kg nevertheless worth chekking out., ,Same for the lexus GS (292 bhp) 1795 kg. Know for his fun drive and smoking tires., ,The new ford mustang isn't for sale yet in europe so no clue what that car is like, i've read and heard that its very decent though. i didn't mention any hatchbacks (ford RS, Vw Gti series etc) because most of them are fwd All the cars are new models of course you can find alot of cool cars on ebay, like old porsche models ( 911 or 944) , jaguars old AMG or M series but these probaly will be like 2nd 3rd or even 4th user. *note i'm an european so we do mind their usage, which influences the price and also note car prices might be more expensive in europe. I also recommend test driving any car before u purchase them and second u can try and look up alot of car reviews on youtube ( even top gear reviews if u prefer)
