Mercedes already installs speed limiters that you manually set. The kickdown on the auto overrides. Great system entirely under driver control which, if used, makes driving very relaxed.
My Vauxhall insignia has that function. It makes driving much easier. I can see it being much better than cruise control on the motorway (mine doesn’t have adaptive).
Heated seats, steering etc are optional extras on Jaguars
Standard on Toyota, along with safety sense pre collision, drive assist, adaptive cruise control.
If you haven't had an EV before it's nice - it's a smooth drive and decent range. If you've had an EV before there's quite a bit that would frustrate you e.g. you can't see State of Charge anywhere - it's just bars. The miles remaining estimator is quite all over the place
even after it's gotten used to driving style. You can't see "charge remaining stats" while charging unless you open and close the driver door. There's only one level of regen braking which is quite weak. No adaptive cruise control. No heated seats + steering wheel in base model
