What is the best mobile phone below Rs. 25000?

Nokia 7 Plus 12+13MP dual primary camera with 1.4µm f/1.75 2PD with ZEISS optics, 1.0µm f/2.6 with ZEISS optics, dual-tone flash and 16MP front facing camera 15.24 centimeters (6-inch) Full HD+ corning gorilla glass 3, laminated and polarized capacitive touchscreen with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution Android v8.0 Oreo operating system with 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory expandable up to 256GB and dual SIM ((nano+nano) hybrid) dual-standby (4G+4G) 3800mAH lithium-ion battery 1 year manufacturer warranty for device and 6 months manufacturer warranty for in-box accessories including batteries from the date of purchase Nokia 7 Plus Build ,: The phone feels more premium than a 25k phone. This time Nokia absolutely lives up to the expectations of making sturdy handsets. Initially, the phone might seem to be on the heavier side but after an hour or two, you won't even feel the difference. The bronze accents look really nice and compel you to use the phone without a case. The back is also very grippy and makes it easy for one hand usage. Software ,: What could be better and faster than the stock Android experience. Once you start the phone, you get the April security patch which assures you that the phone is part of the Android One programme. The phone is set to receive another major update that would enable dual VoLTE and face unlock feature. Performance ,: The performance of the Nokia 7 Plus is much better than any other mid-range devices. The Snapdragon 660 SoC easily manages all your day to day apps with ease. There are no heating issues even after a couple of hours of intensive gaming. The phone gets slightly warm during charging, but that would be not an issue. Display ,: The 6-inch IPS display is in the 18:9 aspect ratio which makes watching videos and playing games a more immersive experience. Despite being not an AMOLED display, the colours are vivid and the screen also gets super bright for outdoor usage. The screen is almost bezel-less and the overall screen configuration gives you a premium Pixel 2 like vibe. Speakers ,: The lack of stereo speakers is overshadowed by how loud the mono speakers can get. Though it sometimes starts to crackle every once and then during very high bass, it should be more than enough for taking calls, listening to music and watching YouTube videos. Nokia 7 Plus , ,Camera ,: Both the front and the back cameras are subpar. Given the Zeiss hardware on the phone, I expected the camera to perform a bit better. The default camera app produces above average results. The camera hardware coupled with the Pixel 2 Camera Mod, unleashes the camera’s true potential and gives significantly improved results. Battery ,: The phone packs a huge battery. One fully charged it gives around 1 to 1.5 days of charge with moderate to light use. In case of heavy use (7 hours Screen on Time), it would last the entire day. Nokia 7 Plus Pros, 1) build quality of this phone is very impressive . In hand feel is very premium . I bought black + copper mod3l which looks great . 2) Display is also a its great pro . Its a 6 inch 18:9 ratio. Even being a lcd display it looks great . Colors and pixels are awesome . Display is a FHD+ Display. 3) it runs on Android one . So you will get all latest updations directly from google and will get security patches every month . I got update for 8.1 on first switch on of phone. 4) Power chip set . It has Snapdragon 660 . Very fast and responsive . 5) heavy games runs very smoothly without any lag . 6) finger print scanner is good responsive . It is not as fast a apple phones . But its good . I will give 4.5 out of 5 to this sensor. 7) it has all basic sensor . 8) battery life is decent . It last for one and half day easily . Nokia 7 Plus Cons,: Face unlock option is missing which is present in nokia 6. I think that this can be fixed using update Bit expensive. But still great phone in this price range. No IP protection provided. Samsung Galaxy A8+ can be a rival as it has IP protection. I think it will take some time to understand the camera app Buy from flipkart affiliate link ,Android Nokia 7 Plus 4GB RAM, 64GB Realme 1 Phone that will blow your mind.. Pros - 1) Helio p60 processor with AI capabilities ( this makes your phone a performance beast. AI features are the cake to the icing). 2) 6 GB ram and 128 GB storage. (Makes multi tasks easy and navigation fluidic and you don't need to worry about space). 3) front camera is great and back camera ok. 4) color os - very use friendly and hell lots of customisation. As it has an AI powered processor, you get lots of features for your convenience, navigation gestures, screen off gestures works really well. 5) superfast face unlock. You won't miss fingerprint sensor at all. Unless you are in really dark environment. 6) intelligent gallery. ( Photos gets sorted out automatically based on people, places and time) 7) battery - you get 1.25 days out of it easily. 8) dual 4g and volte support is very useful as I use 2 4g sims ( Airtel and jio) 9) display too is good and have decent colour reproduction. 10) no lag or heating while playing or recording 1080p videos. Cons: 1) no fingerprint sensor 2) no gorilla glass ( but it comes with tempered glass screen protector already applied, so no need to worry) 3) no notification led. This sucks. They could have added it, it's frustrating. 4) face unlock works even with your eyes closed and that is really a security threat. Hope oppo would release an update sorting it out. 5)sound output From the speakers requires refinement. On the whole.. I love this phone, it has limitations. Can I use USPS boxes for Mercari?

I am not familiar with shipping through this specific app and it depends on how you are printing/paying for the postage. If the Mercari app allows you to print the postage through them, they will likely choose cheapest shipping option which is 1st class for anything under 13 ounces. You CANNOT use a Priority box and only pay 1st class postage. USPS Priority/Priority Express free boxes require you pay the corresponding postage. So if you are using a small/med/lg flat rate box, you would have to print the postage label for that specific box (it will say exactly what size box you paid for on the shipping label). If it is not a flat rate box, you would have to pay the calculated PRIORITY rate for the weight/destination to use a Priority box. I am in mgmt at USPS and people come in with Priority boxes and 1st class postage all the time and my clerks are instructed to refuse them. USPS provides free shipping supplies to those paying Priority postage. Other cheaper classes of mail would not cover the cost incurred for USPS to provide free boxes/labels/tape. Hope this helps and isn't confusing!!

Is Samsung out of his mind? Why does S21 degrade for Screen (for both resolution and curved screen into flat), speee of charging, material, ROM storage and expendable SD card compared to his last flagship S20.

Why? ,Because of PRICE and BATTERY LIFE,. The main Galaxy S21 starts at $799, while the Galaxy S21 Plus costs $999,. Both of those prices get you a 128GB model. Compared that to ,$999 for the Galaxy S20 (initial launch price), $1199 for the S21 Plus, and going all the way up to $1,399 for the Galaxy S20 Ultra. So that's a $200 price difference, if you want higher specs, you need to pay $1000 for a flagship.. given the state of the world's economy, expensive flagships may not sell as well as before due to the economic crisis we are facing from the pandemic. So do you really want to pay $200 for a slightly higher resolution? It costs money to manufacture displays with a higher resolution, so the price ends up higher for the end user. Keep in mind, ,higher screen resolutions require more battery, and thus lower your battery life so it's not only is it about price. Phone manufacturers have all concluded that consumers care more about battery life more than anything else.. so making the resolution drop from 1440x3200 to 1080x2400, it will make the price $200 cheaper PLUS it will increase battery life for the end user. If you don't believe me, go and change your Samsung's screen resolution from 1440 down to 720… you will notice significant battery life increase. 1080 resolution is perfectly balanced between quality and battery life. I have an LG phone and it can change between 1440, 1080, and 720 screen resolutions. When I change the resolution from 1440 to either 1080 or 720, I notice a pretty noticable difference in battery life.. the 1440 resolution requires more information for the smartphone to process and the CPU and GPU needs more power for it. So as I've said, manufacturers have done surveys and concluded people care more about battery life than anything else. Also, the 1440 resolution to 1080 resolution is not really that much noticable for most people, especially with an average size smartphone screen.. 720 resolution definitely looks pretty ugly and fuzzy, but 1080 resolution still looks sharp. You know who else has a low resolution? Apple's iPhone.. they too have a 1080 resolution on their iPhone 12 Pro Max. So Samsung is seeing the strategy from Apple and prioritizing lowering the price and increasing battery life. I suspect Samsung is trying very hard to price their phones similar to Apple,.. Apple has a $699 iPhone mini and ,$799 for the regular iPhone 12,… so as you can see, ,the regular Galaxy S21 is also priced at $799,. ,So this is a strategy by Samsung to price point their phone similar to Apple and also favor battery life (ESPECIALLY considering the phone already has 120hz AND 5G which is already a battery drainer). ,Samsung has increasingly begun targeting the Apple user demographics, they even removed their headphone jacks and sells bluetooth headphones just like Apple. By the way, the S21 has a newer processor with 5nm size, the S20 has a 7nm+ processor. The processor is more powerful and energy efficient. Both the S20 and S21 have 8GB RAM and 128GB base storage. The camera setup looks the same.. you have a 12MP regular, 64MP telephoto, 12MP ultra wide, and 12MP selfie. Looking at the specs, it seems like they used the exact same camera hardware as last year's. ,Both the S20 and S21 have a 4000mAh battery and 25watt fast charging,, your statement is false when you said the speed charging is slower.. I think you are looking at the S20 Ultra which has a 5000mAh battery and 45watt fast charging, this phone initially costs $1400 so you gotta pay extra for all these features. ,The screen refresh rates of the S20 and S21 are still 120hz,, nothing changed here. ,So the only thing different is a newer gen processor, a slightly lower 1080 resolution, and a $200 price difference. The back of the phone is made of plastic.. I guess it makes it more durable when people drop it, but it just feels super cheap with plastic… this I can agree with you the plastic feels cheaper than glass, not really sure why they went with plastic.. it's possible that they were experiencing customers with broken glass back phones so they went with plastic to prevent that. ,But ONLY the regular Galaxy S21 has a plastic back, the S21 Plus and S21 Ultra has a glass back. And there's no charger included in the box (Samsung following Apple's footsteps). Regarding the flat screen instead of curved, the majority of smartphone users have said they dislike the curved screens.. that's why Samsung got rid of their curved edges. Consumers LOVE using screen protectors and having a curved screen made it harder to install glass screen protectors.. so Samsung making their screens flat is a very good thing. It also is more durable having a flat glass screen rather than curved. I could seen that the bezels of the S21 is a bit bigger than the S20 which looked like it had zero bezels on the side.. this is a nightmare for ergonomics and it's not practical for everyday use despite looking very beautiful.. this is why Apple decided to keep SOME bezels on their screens to avoid “phantom touches”. People have complained to Samsung that they experienced phantom touches due to the curved screens and no bezels. When a person holds their phone in landscape view, their FINGERS are BLOCKING the screen if the screen had zero bezels.. so you need to add a tiny bit of bezels otherwise it would be uncomfortable and impractical to use. Could you imagine using a smartphone with ZERO bezels? Your fingers would be touching the screen by accident all the time.

Why do we see multiple cursors on monitors when moving your mouse really fast?

Ghosting ,( above ), see examples such as ,How to Fix Monitor Ghosting - The Monitor Monitor,, ( quoted here at the end * for Quora knowledge-base archives ) when the display refresh and pixel persistence together leave an image on the screen that we expect to have vanished. This is great for steady information like text, reducing flickering. This is distracting for moving things, like games. There are relatively more expensive screens and interface options ( video cards ) to address this and other issues for gamers, relative to the greater preponderance of less expensive systems designed for the mass audience that is text-based or even non-moving graphics-based, business graphics, including photography, NOT video production. Or ,mouse tails, ( below ) Those aren’t ,keyboard, ,cursors,, those are ,mouse pointers,, and the old ones take a moment to be refreshed over by the screen redrawing, OR “show ,mouse trails,” is on in mouse settings. Plus, our brain is piecing things together, try waving one hand quickly over the screen and counting your fingers ( six-ish to ten-ish on one hand, no less, above ). - - - - - Here’s your ,keyboard, ,cursor,: - - - - - - - - - - In response to ,Logan Darklock, who wrote, “… ,You need to accept that multiple words can mean the same thing. The pointer on your screen can be called a mouse cursor… or cursor for short. The ,caret ,in a text box can be called a cursor as well. When someone says cursor you should not immediately assume that they are incorrect just because there are multiple definitions of “cursor”. Yes, the technical term for that line in a text box where text appears is a caret. Manipulating carets in a text field is called ,Caret navigation - Wikipedia, The cursor I mention in my answer is a mouse cursor, …” Thanks for finding one more sloppy non-sourced page at Wikipedia, see ,Talk: Caret navigation - Wikipedia, for a whimsical decision-making process completely without authoritative reference ( a Wikipedia no-no ), they might as well roll some dice - haha. Quora is not about me ( or you ), see ,Quora.com/about, - we’re here voluntarily to build the most accurate and appropriate knowledge base on the topic subject. Let’s do that. caret ,( noun ) "mark in correcting printers' proofs to show where something is to be inserted," 1680s, from Latin caret "there is lacking," 3rd person singular indicative of carere "to lack, to want" ( from suffixed form of Proto Indo European root *kes- "to cut" ). ASCII Characters ( Printable ) ,^, ^ ,Caret And, yup, that “insertion mark or point” has evolved to include ,|,, and ,_,. The mouse pointer is not an insertion mark, it hovers over stuff and must be clicked to drop an insertion mark where something will be inserted, that is, move the mouse pointer over a line of text and there is no insertion mark until we click, then an insertion mark appears, appearing as ,|, in Windows, ,_, in DOS. cursor ,( noun ) circa 1300 ( as a surname ) "a running messenger", from Latin cursor "runner", also "errand-boy", from curs-, past-participle stem of currere "to run" ( from Proto Indo European root *kers- "to run" ). From 1590s as "part of a slide rule or other instrument that slides backward and forward upon another part." The computer screen sense is a 1967 extension of this. The mouse pointer - not even around in 1967 - is not a cursor, a runner, it is unreferenced to whatever it is floating over, analogy wise, it’s a flier, not a runner. HP especially gave up and mentions: “… To change the ,mouse pointer, ( ,cursor, ) image …” Not “caret”, but definitely giving up and taking whatever a customer says without argument. A typical effort to lend some discipline goes like this: “… A ,cursor ,is the ,position indicator ,on a computer display screen where a user can enter text. In an operating system with a graphical user interface ( GUI ), the ,cursor ,is also a visible and moving ,pointer ,that the user controls with a ,mouse,, ,touchpad,, or similar ,input device, [ ,track ball, for example ]. The user uses the ,pointing cursor, and special input buttons to establish where the ,position indicator, ,cursor ,will be or to select a particular program to run or file to view. Typically, the ,pointing cursor, is an ,arrow, and the ,text entry position cursor, is a ,blinking underscore ,or ,vertical bar,. Most operating systems allow the user to choose another appearance for the ,cursor ,…” In other words, no idea. Yup, words, and meanings, evolve, no one owns them, and as new folks enter any discipline, they expand and repurpose jargon at will. We generally understand each other, even if 6 people in a computer class might refer to the same thing in 18 different ways, and might refer to 18 different things the same way I love it when we highlight one word, one sentence, one paragraph, even one whole page, then tap one letter on our keyboard, and that one letter that we type is inserted to replace the entire highlighted section, revealing that the entire highlighted section is a cursor, an insertion so-called “point” can be any shape and size at all - haha. Let’s call it a “thingy”. ;-) Making the opening question: Why do we see multiple ,thingies, on computer display monitors when moving our mouse really fast? Disambiguate that! Thanks for exploring this and sharing. - - - - - - - - - - * ,How to Fix Monitor Ghosting - The Monitor Monitor How to Fix Monitor Ghosting ,January 11, 2019 by ,Anthony, Monitor ghosting is an effect on an LCD flat panel display that occurs when a “ghost” image which was previously displayed continues to remain on screen even though part of the visual has changed. It is caused by smearing or blurring of the pixels. Ghosting happens because of slow response time and the monitor’s inability to stay up to speed with the refresh rate. Many other issues are like ghosting that may occur which include screen tearing, input lag, stuttering, flickering, or runt frames. These may or may not happen in combination with the ghosting effect. But in the event, you see an image in the present that was recently displayed in the past playback loop; you are probably experiencing a ghosting effect. This guide should help you identify the issues causing these adverse visual effects and list the corresponding solutions to mitigate them. ,Use the OSD menu If you are using a stand-alone monitor with an on-screen display and not a laptop then follow these recommendations: 1. Go to picture settings 2. Scroll to and press AMA settings. 3. Switch from the high setting to the medium setting or turn off this option altogether. AMA stands for advanced motion acceleration, and it is part of response time compensation technology. Sometimes it is called ‘Overdrive.’ You may or may not know that LCD monitors moderate light flow by switching around liquid crystal molecules to different alignments where they produce and transfer different levels of light. And the speed at which these molecules switch can be less than the monitor’s refresh rate. As a result, in a visual scenario such as a puck thrusting from the blade of a hockey stick, you will notice that the object is blurry. This is because the overdrive technology is sending a high voltage to the pixels to give off enough energy to de-blur the picture as fast as possible. In an ideal situation, the AMA would be useful in reducing the ghosting, but if there is a discrepancy between the refresh rate and the response time, you will experience the adverse visual effects. Gaps between the graphics card and the monitor can also cause AMA to work inefficiently. ,Why does response time acceleration or overdrive have different names? ,The reason behind different manufacturers has different names for the same technology whether you decide to call it overdrive, excellent motion acceleration, response time compensation, or response time acceleration dates back to the inventor of the technology Robert Hotto of Positive Technologies. Hotto had a patent issued when he developed the response time compensation technology that was copied by a large number of LCD manufacturers. The manufacturers simply renamed the technology feature to avoid paying royalties to Positive Technologies. A ,lawsuit, was filed against companies such as BenQ, Samsung, Sharp, NEC, LG and more. The lawsuit was won, and while the companies pay royalties to Positive Technologies, the naming of the feature did not change to a uniform one among the industry. ,Conclusion ,You can also access the response time menu and toggle between the options to find the best setting. The goal is to synchronize the response time with the refresh rate. If you still require better performance, you may want to opt to purchase a FreeSync monitor if you have an AMD graphics card or a G-Sync monitor if you have an NVIDIA graphics card. These can eliminate the effects of ghosting because they actively work to target the issue of synchronization between refresh rate and response time. Can I put a 55-inch TV on a 32-50 inch wall mount?

In this case the main determining factors are: The weight of your TV set., Usually the maximum weight the wall mount will support is clearly marked on the box in which the wall mount came, or in its installation manual. Also, ,before ,you buy a wall mount, check the specs on the owners manual of your TV set to find out how much it weighs. VESA mount compatibility,. The VESA mounting is a set of four (4) threaded metal inserts arranged in a square or a rectangle on the back of most flat-screen TV sets. These allow attachment of a VESA plate with screws, which in turn allows you to easliy attach the TV to the already-installed wall mount. Most TV’s possessng a VESA mounting will have the ,size ,of that mounting called out in the specifications (check your TV owner’s manual). Generally, when shopping for a wall mount, make sure that the VESA compatability range for the wall mount at least ,overlaps ,the VESA compatability range of your TV set. You can learn more about VESA mounts here: ,Flat Display Mounting Interface - Wikipedia T,he ,type ,of wall mount you have (or wish to buy)., Generaly a full-motion wall mount will have somewhat less margin of error in terms of weight capacity than a fixed (non-adjustable) wall mounting, due to the latter’s greater complexity. For Example: The LG 55-inch model # 55SM8600PUA weighs 37.9 pounds (17.3 kg) without its table stand attached, and is compatible with a 300mm x 300mm VESA mount. Thus, for this ,particular ,TV set, you would want a wall mount which: Is compatible with a 300mm x 300mm VESA mounting, ,and Supports at least 45 pounds if a fixed mount or 52 pounds if a full-motion mount. tl;dr: If the VESA mounts on your TV set are in the same compatibility range as your wall mount ,AND ,the maximum weight your wall mount will suppport ,exceeds ,the weight of your TV set, you should be OK. However, given that 50″ is the ,maximum, size rating of the walll mount you have, I’d recommend shopping for a larger capacity wall-mount; better safe than sorry.

Which OS is best for mobiles?

Android 5 vs. i OS 8 vs. Windows Phone 8.1: Which smartphone OS is best? You’re in the market for a new smartphone (maybe your first smartphone), but which digital horse should you put your money behind? Choosing a smartphone OS is a bigger choice than you realize. Thankfully, if you can’t decide whether to pick iPhone, one of the many ,Android, phones, or Windows Phone, we’re here to help. We’ll break the battle down into categories and find a winner for each. Just pick what matters most to you, count up the wins in those categories, and you have a recommendation. ,Updated on 12-12-2014 by Simon Hill,: Changed to reflect the latest platform versions, Android 5.0 Lollipop, iOS 8, and Windows Phone 8.1., Affordability ,Apple, doesn’t make budget devices, and the latest iPhone is always among the most expensive handsets on the market, costing $200 with a two-year contract and $650 without. Last year’s ,iPhone 5S, comes in at $100 less. The ,iPhone 5C, — which is ,a lot better than you’d guess, — is as close as ,Apple, gets to budget at about $200 cheaper, but it’s still pricey. Microsoft’s main hardware partner Nokia (which it now owns) has always been good at producing quality hardware at relatively low prices. There are a wide range of Windows Phones at varying price points, and finally a few that push the limit and rival Android and iOS on specs. It’s also worth remembering that hardware manufacturers like Samsung, ZTE, LG, Lenovo, and Huawei are signed up as Windows Phone 8.1 partners and could well produce some cheap handsets in the near future. Still, for sheer scale and variety nothing competes with Android. There’s a huge choice of low cost handsets from a wide variety of different manufacturers and the platform has been deliberately optimized to run on low end hardware. The fact that Android also leads the field in free apps makes it the natural choice for the budget-conscious. Chances are, if it’s a smartphone by HTC, Samsung, Sony, ZTE, Huawei, or LG, it’s running Android. ,Winner: Android Interface Led by Windows Phone, all three platforms have gravitated toward a minimalist, flat, fast, colorful user interface. The big difference is that many Android manufacturers have added their own user interfaces on top of stock Android and so your mileage will vary. The basic structure with customizable ,home, screens, an app drawer, and pull down notifications is standard, but there’s much more variation on Android than you’ll find on the other two platforms. The Android Lollipop roll-out has ushered in Google’s “Material Design” which is a minimalist look with simple animations that’s intended to create a new continuity across the platform and in Google’s apps. It looks very stylish, but you’ll need a new device or a Nexus right now to see it. App developers are still adjusting and it will be a while before Android 5.0 Lollipop represents a big share of Android users. After a major redesign in iOS 7, Apple’s platform is bright and modern-feeling. The slick animations as you navigate around give a sense of depth, and it’s easy to understand. Under the new paint job, this is still the same iOS that came out in 2007. Still, many have complained that the new version of iOS is hard on the eyes. There are settings to turn off its offending animations. Apple has made further refinements in iOS 8, but the aesthetic remains largely unchanged. Windows Phone is based on a grid of “Live Tiles” which can be arranged and resized to suit the owner. It looks and acts much like Windows 8 PCs and tablets, but there’s no Desktop here. Windows Phone can sometimes feel overly stylish and sluggish compared to iOS and Android. It is very customizable, though, and WP 8.1 feels slicker than previous versions. ,Winner: Tie , Apps We can bump Windows Phone straight out of the running here because it trails way behind Android and iOS when it comes to overall app numbers and app quality. Android apps, – 1.3 million iOS apps, – 1.2 million Windows Phone apps, – 300,000 Traditionally iOS has been a more lucrative platform for developers and easier to develop for, so there has been a tendency for new apps to appear there first, but that is changing as Android’s market share continues to grow. The Play Store still has a higher percentage of free apps than the App Store, but in terms of variety and quality we have to give this one to iOS. ,Winner: iOS App store usability None of the app stores offer an excellent user experience and it can be tough to sift through the thousands of apps on offer to find what you really want. In terms of recommendations and curated charts the Apple App Store maintains a slender lead over Google’s Play Store. Microsoft’s Windows Phone store definitely lags behind in terms of usability and aesthetic. ,Winner: iOS, Alternative app stores and sideloading It’s relatively easy to sideload apps (install them from your PC using a USB cable or alternate download method) on Android and there are a lot of ,alternative app stores, beyond the Play Store, although sideloading can open you up to the risk of malware. Both Apple and Microsoft are opposed to third-party app stores and expect users to stick to their app stores. If you want a wider choice of apps and easy sideloading then your choice is obvious. Android is more open than its competitors and is more geek friendly. ,Winner: Android Battery life and management As one of the biggest bugbears for smartphone owners, battery life is a huge factor. It’s difficult to compare the three platforms because there’s no common hardware. We could say iOS is optimized to squeeze the most out of the battery per mAh rating, but you can buy an Android device with a much bigger battery that will easily outlast the iPhone. In Android you can see your battery usage at a glance, broken down by app, with an estimate of how much battery life you have left. In Lollipop, Google has baked a basic battery saver feature into Android. Most manufacturers also offer some kind of battery saving feature, which allows you to tweak performance or turn off background syncing for specific apps when the battery hits a certain level. Windows Phone has a battery saver option that shows estimated remaining life and allows you to turn off background usage for apps or other non-essential features to save battery. Apple has introduced more detailed battery usage statistics by app in iOS 8, but it lacks a battery saving app or mode. We had a terrible time with battery life in iOS 7, and the bigger screens in the latest iPhones cancel out improvements made in iOS 8. Apple has lost a lot of ground in the battery wars. ,Winner: Android, OS Updates All three platforms are updated on a pretty regular basis. There are big releases with new features and occasional redesigns every few months, and smaller releases to deal with bug fixes a little more frequently than that. Microsoft and Apple maintain greater control over the software, so it’s easier for them to roll out updates and compatible devices tend to upgrade to the latest version in a timely fashion. Apple always leaves behind a couple older devices each year when new software comes out, so it’s not entirely free of fragmentation, but it does better than Microsoft or Google. For example, Windows Phone 7 devices can’t be updated to Windows Phone 8. If you opt for a Nexus Android device then you’ll get the latest updates quickly, but if you don’t, you may never get an update. Samsung, Sony, and LG have finally begun providing some updates, but you’re at their mercy, and the mercy of your wireless carrier, which also has decided that it should have the right to test and release all new software updates for Windows Phone and Android. Apple is exempt. ,Winner: iOS Customizability There are a lot of different elements to customizability, but we can state unequivocally that this is one of Android’s strengths. Out of the box, you can customize your Android experience in a variety of ways. You can install alternative launchers that will change the look of your user interface. You can set up your lock screen and multiple home screens with backgrounds, resizable widgets, and shortcuts. Both iOS and Windows Phone offer limited options. You can set up backgrounds and shortcuts. With Windows Phone you have re-sizable Live Tiles and color schemes to choose from, and you can add background images in 8.1. In iOS 8 there is finally some support for at-a-glance style widgets, but they’re confined to the Notification Center. Google has always allowed you to choose your default keyboard in Android. Microsoft has gradually improved the keyboard in Windows Phone, but it’s still locked down to the default option. Apple has opened up third-party keyboard support for iOS 8, but it still has a way to go to match Android. Beyond the keyboard, you can set third-party apps as defaults for all kinds of things in Android that are locked down in iOS and WP. ,Winner: Android, Rooting, bootloaders, and jailbreaking We’ve looked at ,how to root your Android phone or tablet, before. It’s not for everyone, but if you want root access and complete control over your device then rooting is the way to get it. Rooting gives you access to more apps, the latest OS updates without waiting, new software skins to get the aesthetic you want, the chance to get rid of bloatware from carriers and manufacturers, potential tweaks to boost your device’s speed and battery life, and more. Many Android OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) also offer a way to unlock the bootloader, which determines how the operating system loads up on your device. Microsoft and Apple are completely opposed to this kind of thing. Unlocking bootloaders and rooting is possible on some devices and versions of Windows Phone. Jailbreaking is an option for iOS, which lets you download and install apps from outside the App Store and bypass some other limitations. ,Winner: Android Calls and messaging Basic calling and messaging functionality is good on all three platforms. Google has made moves to fold everything into Hangouts, so you can send messages via Wi-Fi, data network, or SMS. You can also make video calls online. FaceTime and iMessage are basically exactly the same thing on the iOS platform. Skype is Microsoft’s answer, but it’s separate from your standard SMS. Skype works on every platform; Hangouts doesn’t work on Windows Phone; iMessages and FaceTime are only for iOS and Mac OS X. ,Winner: Tie, Email The default email apps on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone are very easy to use and quick to set up. You can pull in multiple email accounts and view them in a single inbox if you desire. Android and iOS have a huge range of third-party email apps available as well. ,Winner: Tie, Peripherals The average iPad or iPhone owner spends more money on more things than the average Android or Windows Phone device owner, and Apple has built up a great ecosystem of peripherals for its phones and tablets. There are ,far, more peripherals and ,cases aimed at the iPhone, than any other device, but something like Samsung’s latest ,Galaxy S5, would be a close second. On the other hand, Android and WP devices have adopted the Micro USB standard, whereas Apple insists on its proprietary Lightning cable, which means its much easier to find a charger if you’re not an iPhone owner. This often means you have to splash out on an overpriced Apple adapter, which are ,known to break,. Peripheral manufacturers may still go after iOS as their main target, but it’s very rare to find something without Micro USB support. ,Winner: iOS Cloud services Apple is the one lagging behind when it comes to cloud storage and automatic backups. Microsoft’s OneDrive and Google Drive both offer 15GB for free and cross-platform support (although Google Drive doesn’t work with Windows Phone). You only get 5GB with iCloud and it only works with Windows, Mac, and iOS. If you need a lot of additional space then Google Drive is the cheapest at $2 per month for 100GB ($24 for the year), Apple charges $100 per year for 50GB, and Microsoft charges $50 per year for 100GB. Winner: Android, ,., Photo backup If you use Google+ or the Photos app in Android then you can automatically backup all of your photos and videos. You can also use Google+ on iOS. OneDrive allows you to automatically back up photos on Android, iOS, or Windows Phone. Traditionally iCloud only backs up photos from the last 30 days or the last 1,000 photos and doesn’t save videos, but with iOS 8 the iCloud Photo Library keeps a permanent backup bringing it into line with the other two, although it offers less free space at 5GB compared to 15GB with Google Drive and OneDrive. It’s also worth noting that Google Drive lets you backup an unlimited number of photos or videos at standard size for free, only full-sized files count against your allowance. ,Winner: Android Voice assistants We had a look at ,Cortana vs Siri vs Google Now, a while back. All three can interpret and action a wide variety of voice commands. Siri is more like a straightforward assistant for setting calendar appointments, searching the ,Web,, or making calls. Google Now has an extra element, in that it can pre-emptively offer useful information. If you allow it to gather data on you then it might suggest directions to a place you recently searched for, or let you know the latest score for your favorite ,sports, team. Cortana falls somewhere in between Siri and Google Now encompassing elements of both. There’s an attempt to push things further by offering access to functions within apps and reminder prompts linked to specific people in your contacts. Microsoft has really taken its time getting Cortana right and it has the potential to be a big win for the Windows Phone platform. Winner: Windows Phone Connectivity All the ,mobile, platforms support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as standard. Android and Windows Phone led the way with NFC (near field communication) for easy wireless transfers and ,mobile, payments, but Apple has included NFC in the ,iPhone 6, and 6 Plus. It has also launched Apple Pay with some major partners, which could close the ,mobile, payment gap very quickly. NFC can also be used for quick file transfers, tapping phones together to share contacts or Web pages, or tapping on supported speakers to stream ,music,. There’s nothing to really separate the platforms here. Winner: Tie Security Much has been made of the supposedly “toxic hell stew” that is Android, but the threat of malware is grossly exaggerated by the competition. The truth is that most people will never encounter a problem because they don’t go outside the Play Store for apps. Specific manufacturers like Samsung have taken extra efforts to beef up security for the enterprise market. Apple is already firmly entrenched in corporate America and has also worked on improved security for general consumers, most notably with the Touch ID. The tight oversight that Apple has on apps and the ability to push updates out to more devices, more quickly, gives it a definite edge over Android. Windows Phone is not as widely used, and that means MDM programs focus on iOS and Android, but Microsoft is certainly working to improve security and woo the ,business, world. Winner: iOS Maps All three platforms offer a good maps solution, despite ,what you’ve heard,. Key features are pretty similar, you can download maps for offline use, get accurate estimates based on current traffic conditions, and turn-by-turn directions for driving or walking. They all work well and should get you where you’re going. Still, the scale and quality of Google Maps is unsurpassed. It has more points of interest and it is generally more detailed than Bing Maps or Apple Maps, but the accuracy can vary from place to place. Winner: Android Camera This is another area where Apple extracts maximum value from the hardware it offers. The 8-megapixel camera in the iPhone 6 has been numerically surpassed by Android phones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Windows Phones like the Nokia Lumia 1020, but there’s more to a great camera than just the megapixel count. Apple does the best job capturing lighting, coloring, and other details. The camera apps on each platform are very good and very fast. For ease of use and best results without tweaking, the iOS camera app takes the cake. There’s more variation on Android simply because OEMs tend to add their own camera apps with lots of features, some good, some a bit gimmicky, but we’d take Apple’s camera any day of the week. Winner: iOS Simplicity All three of the platforms are relatively intuitive and easy to pick up. If you were looking for a device for an elderly relative, or a technophobe then you’ll find some specialist offerings on Android, but they tend to scale down what’s possible. Manufacturers like Samsung also include options like “Easy mode” which make the interface bigger and simplify the whole experience, or you can opt for a third-party app to do the same. There are lots of good apps aimed at the elderly on Android and iOS as well. There has been a perception that Android is more complicated than iOS, but it’s not really true. There’s no need to dive into the customization options if you don’t want to. All three platforms offer a good range of accessibility features. Out of the box Windows Phone is probably the most readable. If you’re willing to do a little tweaking and dig into the accessibility features then there’s little to choose between them. ,Winner: Tie Summing up Counting up the wins Android scores 8, iOS scores 6, Windows Phone scores 1, and there were 5 ties. Realistically, different categories will be important to different people, so you should just pay attention to the ones that count for you and make your decision based on that. They are all good platforms with far more similarities than differences, so you can’t really go wrong. Android, is a great all-rounder which offers by far the greatest choice. Thanks to great support from companies like Samsung and LG, there are more handsets at different price points, a much wider variety of customization options, and greater freedom to tweak your device if you choose to do so. Google’s apps and prowess when it comes to cloud services also weigh in here, and if you’re a big user of Google services already, Android definitely makes the most sense for you. One of its strengths is also one of its greatest weaknesses and that’s the old fragmentation argument. It’s hard to discuss Android as a single experience because there is a big gap between a premium flagship and a budget release, though Google is taking steps to close that gap. iOS, is a slick platform that has matured well, and it offers an accessible, uniform experience. It has the best official library of apps, a huge range of interesting peripherals, and an excellent camera app that sums up Apple’s focus on making things easy for the user. Apple also has tighter control which means updates are rolled out quickly across the board and security is generally better, partly due to the popularity of iOS devices in the enterprise. The downside for iOS is the premium price tag, walled garden, lack of customization options, and the underdeveloped cloud services. Windows Phone, has perpetually played catchup since it debuted a few years ago. Microsoft struggles to keep up with the pace set by Apple and Google. The platform is solid and there are some intriguing improvements in 8.1, most notably Cortana, but we can’t overlook the lack of apps and the lack of quality in the apps that do exist when compared to the big two. In terms of general usability and basic phone functions Windows Phone is on par. As Microsoft makes a play for cloud domination, exploits its popular Office suite, and takes steps to work more closely with the enterprise it may become a more attractive prospect for business users, but beyond Cortana it’s tough to see a good reason to choose Windows Phone right now. Today which AC is best?

Hi, I am Geet Kaur, based out of Delhi and currently working from home due to a pandemic. My flat is on the 3rd Floor and After 11 AM, the weather gets too hot and its quite hot inside. So I decided to get a decent AC which will work in this harsh weather. In my office, they have ,Panasonic 2 Ton 5 Star Wi-Fi Twin Cool Inverter Split AC, ,which works very efficiently but I don't require AC with 2 Ton Capacity. After too much research on YouTube and Google, I found one Air Conditioner that hit all my requirements and came in the budget ,”,LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star Inverter Split AC (Copper, Convertible 5-in-1 Cooling, HD Filter with Anti-Virus protection, White),”,. Three things I found remarkable in this AC is. Its Lowest-Noise Operation helps me sleep well. 5-in-1 Cooling 5 Years warranty On Pcb and ten years on the compressor, which ensures its good quality. THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING INVERTER AC Due to the climate of India, air condition has become an essential àspect for everyone; therefore it's a great idea to choose Air Conditioner. But choosing a perfect AC among various varieties and features can be a tough task. So, there are some points you need to focus Before buying AC. • Capacity: The capacity offering by the AC is the first thing to look at. The capacity is always to be selected based on your room size. For small-sized room (upto 110 sq. ft.), 1 ton of capacity is good, whereas 1.5 tons of capacity is for medium size room (110–150 sq. ft.) and large rooms(150–210 sq. ft.) requires an AC with a capacity of 2 tons. • Energy Efficiency: The next important aspect to think about is the energy efficiency of this AC. It is advised to consider an AC with a 3-Star rating or more. The rating mentioned on the AC determines your energy consumption. Higher the rating least will be your Electricity Bill. • Noise Level: An AC with significantly less sound is almost always a perfect selection for silent and tranquil cooling. The maximum noise level supplied by each AC shouldn't over 60 decibels. Lesser decibels of sound level provide silent and easy functions. • Condenser: The materials used in the building of the condenser is the next thing to check. Copper coils condenser is extremely efficient, cools quicker, and has a longer lifespan when compared with aluminum coils. • Air filters: Filters of AC are responsible for cleaning the air and providing bacteria-free and healthy air to breathe. So, easy-clean filters are to be chosen that can be easily removed, washed and fitted. Best 5 Air Conditioner. 1. Open all doors and windows, and change on the fan at high speed for approximately 15 min. This will flush out the warm air and get into the fresh air. Mind you, house-divided AC's do not ventilate. However, circulate. That means you may end up in rancid air for the entire night. Its best to flush after. Placing it in 18deg won't help. It'll eat up a high amount of energy. Allow slow cooling. Do not expect cooling to take place in two minutes. Slower, the greater. So the true room temp can slowly grow. That saves a whole lot of energy. Attempt to steer the air towards you. Whenever there's air blowing in your face/body, the higher temp will feel cool. Try purchasing an inverter AC. That saves a whole lot of power. My normal use takes around 56-60 Kwh(units) per month. When you've got an Inverter AC, do not bother to flip off. Its okay when its running all night. Inverters are efficient. Maintain your roof cool. Or use a color web to impede the direct sunshine. Locate airgaps under doorways, windows, ventilators, etc. and shut them. Have less material within the space. I hope this information helps you in purchasing and using AC. ,Hit Upvote if you like.
