I read most of the answers to this question and what I noticed is majority of such apps (barring a few) are not as useful as their developers claim them to be. I’m a techno-savvy medico with a good background in UI/UX Design and iOS App Development, so I’m sure you’ll love these out of the box high-yield apps - which are damn good but are under-publicized : InSimu :, Best app to diagnose and practice real life simulated cases. You can choose systemic examinations, almost all lab tests, imaging, special disease panels and finally you write submit your diagnosis in ICD-10 Codes. There are challenge modes like limited time, limited resources, etc. Almost every other person in our college has it and there’s no going back. Touch Surgery : ,Best app for learning surgery. There are 3D Simulations of every step in the surgery starting from painting draping till discharge. As a UG, I used to practice these virtual dissection surgeries before attending real OTs. CIMS India :, The drug prescription assistant for Indian medicos. I love it because here, the drug doses are listed according to their indications !! 3D4 Medical : ,All Anatomy Apps from this segment of Elsevier like Complete Anatomy, Essential Anatomy are visually pleasing + informative. Such apps are best used with iPads/Tablets as small mobile screens defeat the purpose of these apps. Epocrates :, Everything about the medical field at one place. I don’t use it frequently but just to complete the list. Marrow : ,For PG Preparation, it’s the best app out there. The interface & content is rich as it’s a Bengaluru based firm. I do not recommend Prepladder or Unacademy for the same. Other apps like DAMS eMedicoz and DBMCI eGurukul are best used in conjunction with classroom courses. I have reviewed the following apps & would ,NOT, recommend them : WebMD, - Makes us feel sick !! Every disease has every symptom listed in it. Extremely below par wrt detailing. MEDscape, - Again developed by WebMD itself. Prognosis, - Since it was primarily an Android App, it’s design is not up to the mark. It is nowhere near to InSimu.

I found a great article by Readers Digest (http://www.rd.com/advice/saving-money/74-car-care-tips-to-keep-your-automobile-in-topnotch-condition/) with some really useful tips that you would not normally think of. Here are some of my favorites: 1. Don’t fill up if you see the tanker, If you happen to see a gasoline tanker filling the tanks at your local gas station, come back another day or go to a different station. As the station’s underground tanks are being filled, the turbulence can stir up sediment. Sediment in your gas can clog fuel filters and fuel injectors, causing poor performance and possibly necessitating repairs. 2. Lighten up your key chain, Does your car key share a chain with a dozen or more other keys? That’s a pretty heavy load hanging off the car key when it’s in the ignition. The weight, combined with bouncing while you drive, can wear out the tumblers inside the ignition and eventually lead to ignition switch failure. To add years of service to your ignition switch, purchase a lightweight key chain that allows you to separate your ignition key from the others. Drive with only the ignition key in your ignition. If your ignition key “sticks” when you try to turn on the car, it’s a warning that your ignition switch is about to fail. Replace it before you get stranded. 3. Touch up nicks sooner rather than later , Touch-up paint won’t adhere well to rust. So be sure to keep some matching touch-up paint on hand so you can touch up any minor nicks, often found around door edges, before rust has a chance to form.

There are few methods that I have known of, select the method which suits you needs and availability of the items: If the camera body has color loss the best method is touch up pen (,metal gun grade,). If it has engraving on the camera body or scratches, the touch up pen is not going to fill the empty space, use method 2 or 3 instead. For method 2 and 3, for most effective application, ,file the camera body, to be painted using a ,nail filer,, not leaving any scratches. The reason to file is to take out unwanted dirt mixed with sweat from long duration and some loosened up paint. 1. ,Touch up pen, – There is only one reliable and most used product “Birchwood Casey gun Blue pen”. This is the pen used in fixing the color loss on metal gun and works on most of the items like lens barrels, camera body, etc. When you apply it looks colorless but within a minute you will see the color loss is fixed. Here is the link if you want to buy one - ,https://www.amazon.com/Birchwood-Casey-Presto-Blue-Touch-Up/dp/B000TTIEY6 2. ,VHT SP997 Engine Enamel Nu-Cast Cast Iron, – This is a high temperature spray paint and holds up very nice for a longer duration. You need to be very careful while applying this solution, making sure you’re not touching the LCD glass. Cover the LCD glass, serial number plate and unwanted part with thick paper board materials and you are good to go. Here is the link - ,https://www.amazon.com/VHT-SP997-Engine-Enamel-Nu-Cast/dp/B000CPCRRW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485357688&sr=8-1&keywords=M-NU 3. ,Lead and Marker DIY method, – This is a method I saw in ,Photography community, including forums, reviews, and galleries from Photo.net, long back and I had the recipe copied. Seems to work very effective. Start with the pencil, fill the scratch by applying a coat of lead on it. Then spread it with your finger (even better if wet) around the scratch area. Then use the black marker (size medium/small) filling the scratch (going over the lead layer) applying dots of ink. Then "seal" it again with some more pencil lead. It's not everlasting, but it lasts pretty long (the author had it on D3 and longed last), you can always re-apply when it wears off, and it looks very similar to the nikon body paint. Important: If you ever use any of the above methods, please share your experience with pictures, which will help others in your situation. Good luck!
Let’s see. For eyebrows, I either use Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade, NYX pencil, or a drugstore pencil. (BTW, Brow This Way brow pencil from Walmart is under $5 and it’s awesome.) For a full face I like to use primer, concealer for some spots, and then liquid foundation. So, that’s another three. Next, I usually just apply a neutral eyeshadow color, something that complements the look- usually a shimmery or matte brown, and I ,might, blend it around the corners with something else. Not much of an eyeshadow art girl, but props to people who have the time to make some truly awesome looks! I like to put some highlighter on my nose, cheekbones, chin, and a little on the forehead. With all of these things on, next I like to use setting spray. Urban Decay stuff does the trick. After that, I may or may not apply eyeliner, usually a cat-eye or light line, but we’ll count it. Then, I put on black mascara. I only use eyelash primer on a super special occasion so I won’t count that. Last, I’ll put on a matte liquid lipstick- my favorite. I like them to be in the nude range but may go for something more dramatic. My favorite of all time is Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick In Bombshell. It’s pretty durable in my experience. So, that’s ten for a full face, but I’m not a MUA. I found a look that works and I’ve run with it. Normally, though, I just put on some lotion, spot-control with concealer if need be, do my eyebrows up and wear some mascara. Might put on some light lipstick, but nothing that’ll stick like paint. (Tiny lil’ touch up/no makeup vs. usual makeup vs. full face)
I’ve been cheated at dealerships more than not, to be honest. It’s not a blatant cheat usually… but it’s ancillary things that I’ve repeatedly been lied to about. 1) I bought a certified pre-owned Honda Odyssey from a Michigan dealer. The sliding door, while in the lot, stuck every now and then. I said I’ll buy it if you repair that. He called me a day later and said it needed to be re-oiled, and it was done. I picked up the car, and within days I took my car and moved out of state. Well a week later the door stuck again and wouldn't close nor open. Within a few weeks it was never working. So when I got around to it, I drove 250 miles back to the dealership and told them… you told me you fixed it. They basically refused to do anything without a standard service fee. $500 later, the door is repaired. It just really irks me when someone says they’ll do something, like repair the door, and they don’t do it or they don’t do it well. The dealer was aware he didn’t do it properly, he clearly just wanted it off his lot. 2) Another time, at a Buick dealership, the headphones with the TV screen didn’t work. I was promised and promised I’d get new ones. They never came. Six months later I get a call from a manager over there who apologizes and says he just read my file, and it looks like this wasn’t taken care of. He said he’ll ship it out. I received them. And they were broken. 3) Yet ,another ,time, buying a new Nissan, the dealer agreed to toss in a very small inexpensive bottle of touch-up paint. He went back to get it, and said they don’t have them in stock and he’ll ship it to me. I’ve heard this before. So I said I’ll just come back when you get it. I had to return four times back to this guy. It’s not the paint that’s the issue - it’s the integrity that’s the issue.

She’s been through 3 deployments without a long term maintenance period that allow her crews to stand down and paint. Just in the last 9 months, she’s been under 3 months quarantine for mumps and still continued her mission, been detached to the 6th fleet and then brought back to the 5th, participated in 4 (3 minor, 1 major) exercises, and participated in 3 “showing the flag” port calls. She has not spent much time in port which is probably bad news for the Marines aboard her. When her current group goes back into port in late november, she’ll have time to catch up on paint touch ups. What people don’t seem to notice is that painting at sea is extremely difficult, especially when you’re running at operational tempo. That is why it is usually done in port. The Russian ship they showed, he actually spent a lot of time in ports during their round the world cruise as well as being newer meaning that the paint is better bonded to the metal (drydock paint jobs last longer due to the process of applying) compared to older ships that haven’t been drydocked for years and spot painted during port calls.
