best rear parking camera Q&A Review

Should I go for Vitara Brezza (5 month waiting period & cheaper plastics) or ford ecosport (costlier, less reliable & expensive after sales service)?

First of all before starting ,Ford EcoSport, less reliable…REALLY.??? Secondly the ex-showroom prices of both the cars are neck to neck (with EcoSport being slightly on the higher side), so its not that costlier. Lastly after sales service of Ford is phenomenal and Maruti is in no match with it, yes ford can be a bit expensive but being compared to a Maruti any other company will be expensive. Now coming to: Which car you should go for.! EcoSport: The build quality of EcoSport is outstanding. You can feel it as soon as you are seated inside the cabin. The cabin is more futuristic and appealing than that of Brezza. Riding position is much better than Brezza. The engine is more drivable in low rpms which means city driving will be breeze in the EcoSport with less gear change. The steering wheel is one of the best in its class. It gives you a feeling of being connected to the road. Body roll is much less in EcoSport as compared to Brezza which means driving around the corners in EcoSport will be much more fun and confidence inspiring. 6 Airbags and Leather Seats and upholstery. The overall quality ride of the EcoSport is much more smoother. The binocular type meter console looks great. BREZZA: Loaded with all the latest tech stuff like: 7 inch Hi-Res touch screen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Sat Nav. Reverse Parking camera. Ease of driving on ,highways, or straight stretch of roads. Broader cabin means rear passengers will have more shoulder room than the EcoSport. Rear center armrest. Cruise control. Now giving the verdict: If you are a person who loves tech and stuff then you could go for the Maruti Brezza but keep in mind it do have a mediocre city performance i.e. you will have to work on with the gears a lot in the city. If you are driving enthusiast then you will love the way the EcoSport drives and handles every section of the road. The only things on which the EcoSport is missing out is with tech stuffs like a large coloured display(yes the 3.5inch screen looks outdated), sat nav and a cruise control which is being offered by all of its competitors. But believe me it still dont look outdated. EDIT 1: This is in with regard that Ford is costlier to maintain: (P.S. It is a screenshot from my phone of Instagram) Ford’s were heavy on pocket way back when they came to India. Now they have a completely new story to tell. EDIT 2: Ford has finally launched the EcoSport with the nigs and jigs it was missing: A ,touchscreen SatNav, system which also supports ,DVD, playing: Reverse parking camera and Door ajar warning: And the one feature which I missed a big time is ,Cruise Control: Now we must be thinking how will we differ the TITANIUM from PLATINUM or other models from PLATINUM because we will surely be paying more money for the PLATINUM, so Ford has worked on that too: The 16′ alloy wheels from TITANIUM are now replaced by a 17′ diamond cut alloys A front and rear bumper appliques And a black painted roof to let it stand out Now one question to ask, Isn’t she more beautiful than before??

What is the best petrol car with a budget of Rs. 10 to 11 lacs? Monthly run is about 400 kms. It should be low on annual maintenance costs, give good mileage, and has a decent resale value.

Go for suzuki or hyundai. Prefarably with i20 for hatchback or creta for suv but it's little higer priced. Hyundai venue only looks big in size but feels congested from inside. Kila seltos is also there but not sonet as it's also same as venue. Tata cars both Nexon n altroz still make too much cabin and engine noise compared to hyundai in which u won't even know if car is on. So no to them. Unfortunately. Then there r honda, nissan, renault ford which get beaten in after sales service n low userbase so service parts scarcity. Mahindra xuv is also good both spacious n good service but it's suspension is not for everyone's liking. Maruti comes at last u can go for baleno but i20 would be better as it has more features for same price. & Vitara brezza has too hard suspension u feel like sitting on rock. But Maruti Suzuki service is cheap like horn for 180rs kind of cheap. So conclusion:— Hyundai i20, creta — Yes Hyundai venue aura -No Kia seltos — Yes Kia sonet — No Tata — No Mahindra — try suspension then yes. Maruti — baleno — yes (but prefer i20). Rest all — no. Note:— what I have noticed from buying electronics and car is to go with the crowd even if it feels like a sheep. U won't regret but go for hyundai as for better service but little higher parts cost or for Maruti for little poor service but super cheap maintainence. I hope u make informed decision. Edit: some people r saying safety but most cars don't have ncap rating and now that govt has mandated airbags n rear parking cameras etc u can't go much wrong in any of them.

Is it worth getting rear parking sensors as well as front parking sensors when I have a reversing camera?

Yes. We have a 2007 BMW with front and rear parking ‘rader’ that when engaged (by pressing a button or selecting reverse), displays a top-down graphic of the car with any obstacles around it and audible proximity alerts (different tones front and rear), We also have a Nissan Leaf with all-round cameras but no audible proximity warnings. I’d take the BMW system over the Nissan one any day, as the cameras can be difficult to see if wet, or at night when there are sources of glare etc. But a combination of radar and cameras would be very good (had this in a loaner Qashqai) and the rear parking camera we had in a rental Kia Ceed was also much better and brighter than the one in the Leaf. So whilst it depends upon the exact type of each system, a combination of both gives the best of both worlds.

What is the best aftermarket rear parking camera?

Can't really help with a brand, but I simply look EVERY time I get in my car at what's behind it, walk the few feet to look especially at a shopping area, then watch my mirrors as I leave. Keeping my eyeballs off a screen of what's behind me frees them to concentrate on what's trying to pass behind. If you can't tell where your car's butt is, get some lessons; Mom taught me 50 years ago and it worked.

Why should we consider the Tata Harrier BS6 as the best SUV in the 20 lakhs budget?

So first of all let’s list down all the options that are available in the 20lakhs bracket HYUNDAI CRETA(starts from 11,38,000) KIA SELTOS(starts from 11,13,000) MG HECTOR(starts from 14,97,000) JEEP COMPASS(starts from 19,12,000) XUV 500(starts from 16,34,000) MAHINDRA SCORPIO(starts from 12,73,457) TATA HARRIER(starts from 16,42,,000) Note: All prices mentioned are on road price ,LUCKNOW ,(UP has one of the highest standard RTO charges(same for both diesel and petrol) .And cities like DELHI have different charges for diesel and petrol and then the model of vehicles for different fuel types are colliding thus I chose a state which has equal charges for both diesel and petrol and I selected Lucknow as it is the state capital) all prices are dated ,26JAN 2020. ,It is also more helpful in doing comparative analysis. Out of all the above listed options , CRETA & SELTOS are not an ,SUV. ,MG HECTOR looks like a compressed MPV So now we are left with 4 options - ,JEEP COMPASS , TATA HARRIER , MAHINDRA SCORPIO , MAHINDRA XUV 500 Out of the left 4 SCORPIO & XUV500 have became old and feels outdated Now after all the selection and elimination ,we are left with 2options ,namely ,TATA HARRIER & JEEP COMPASS Out of the left 2 options ,JEEP COMPASS is ,overpriced (,I know that this is an unpopular opinion) and in that 20L budget the buyer will only get the BASE model i.e SPORT PLUS 1.4 PETROL ,and I don’t think that a person who’ll shell out 20L will like to buy a petrol SUV. So, now after all the elimination let me simply state the reason why one should buy ,HARRIER The D8 platform which has been derived from the JLR group. Harrier may not have an AWD drivetrain option right now but Tata has made sure that this does not hold the SUV back. The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) on the Harrier comes with a number of safety aids and traction modes. To be precise, the ESP on the Harrier has a total of 11 functions, ranging from hill descent control and hill hold to off-road ABS, cornering stability control and brake disc wiping. This is something that the competition like the Jeep compass and Mahindra XUV500 do not even come remotely close to. Multiple Driving modes like ,ECO,SPORT &CITY . ,These modes allow the driver to choose and derive the best out of the available options as per his/her needs. Unique ,funky and attractive design of the handbrake . Not gonna lie, this handbrake looks like that of an aircraft! Amazing 9-speaker JBL audio system. ,Tata has equipped the Harrier with a powerful 320W 9 speaker system developed by JBL specifically for the SUV. The floating touchscreen infotainment system on the Harrier is a 8.8 inch unit which comes with Apple Car Play/ Android Auto connectivity along with rear parking camera display. The unit has been supplied by Visteon, the company which also supplies infotainment system to premium brands like Land Rover. One of the most wide and huge sunroof in segment. ,The sunroof also has features like rain-sensing ,anti pinch sunroof and the sunroof can also be closed with the lock button on the vehicle key. Most powerful Engine under 20 lakhs . ,The 2L Kryotec engine produces 168Bhp and a torque of 350Nm. Safety of TATA . ,Even smaller cars of TATA like NEXON & ALTROZ have scored 5stars in the Global NCAP crash test . So based on TATA’s recent history it will not be wrong if I or anyone else say that HARRIER will be rated ,5stars ,in it’s crash test . (Though there has been no official crash test and it is just a ,speculation, ). Extreme road presence! ,This car has humongous amount of road presence! Well engineered and beautifully designed headlamps as well as the taillamps. ,The sleek headlamps and taillamps look ,DOPE,! Luxurious and modern looking dashboard. ,PLUSH interiors! The feel good factor . ,You’ll always praise yourself for your choice when you will sit inside this beast. 2.4 A Fast charging points. ,Mobile charging ports are a regular feature in cars nowadays so that’s not a unique feature. However, Tata has fitted the harrier with fast charging USB ports to charge your phone quickly. The 2.4 A fast charging port are available for both the front and rear passengers and are quite handy, especially now when our phones are constantly running out of juice. (Note that your smartphone should be fast charge enabled to utilize the full potential of these 2.4 A ports.) Well proportioned design! “,Creta’s rear looks good but it’s front looks kind of awkward”,”Seltos’ front looks amazing but it’s rear looks blant”,”Hector’s design doesn’t seem to be balanced and at times it feels like it has been overdone” but that’s not the case with the ,HARRIER. NOTE: All the opinions mentioned in the answer are ,personal,. Thanks for the request ,Vigneshwarraj Chandrasekaran,. Hope that I have been able to answer the question upto your expectations! **JAI HIND🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳❤️❤️❤️*

Which is the best car with good features and options to buy around 12 lakhs in 2021?

Everyone will have own choice. I own Honda Jazz V-CVT. I wanted VX but it was not available in CVT and I wanted automatic transmission only. Like a typical Indian I was expecting to buy a Cow that does not eat too much grass, gives a lot of milk, has short horns and will not hurt you, willing to take care of itself, etc. Does the Jazz qualify? Well! Win some. Lose some. Pros: Large and spacious inside and yet small profile inside, good legroom in both parts, decent boot space, good AC, has the peddle shifters, not a fuel guzzler (on extreme crowded Pune streets, I get 12–13 kpl, with AC on always), decent pickup, etc. Meh!: Little wobbly at high speeds with rolling, not recommended for above 90 kph, wheel size small, should have been 1500 cc as elsewhere in the world. Cons: Honda service is expensive, CVT is not as good as MT, car did not come with audible rear parking sensor (came with video rear camera but I prefer audible sensors), had to buy centre arm rest extra, does not have speed sensitive auto door lock, no keyless entry or start/stop. I think I like Tata Altroz a lot too.

Which car is safer and why: Ford Ecosport vs Hyundai Venue?

What are some must-have features that I should look for in a car below INR 7 lakh?

A very Pertinent Question Indeed.. So what should be the must-have features in a car.. There are many features that you can get retrofitted to a car from the market.. But some features - mostly related to safety - are best factory fitted since their reliability & dependability needs to be assured.. So I will list my Top 10 Essential Safety features that are a must in any car - Basic or Otherwise.. It also helps that the New Regulations have mandated some of them to be standard fitments in all cars.. So Here Goes.. 1. ,Airbags,. Goes Without Saying.. The most important safety feature.. Used to be Optional but now a Compulsory Fitment for Driver & Co-Driver in new cars.. A lifesaver though best is if you never have to actually use this feature.. But a must have nevertheless. 2. ,ABS with EBD,. Again a very important safety feature.. Used to be Optional but now a Compulsory Fitment in new cars.. A lifesaver and does its job silently every minute you drive.. Higher Variants would also have ESC, Traction Control, Hill Hold etc.. All related to braking & stability of car.. But in a basic car ABS with EBD is a bare essential. 3. ,Seatbelts With Pre-Tensioners,. Another Important Safety Must-Have.. Can save your life / limb in a crash situation. If you get Load Limiters & Child Seat Isofix Mounts very good.. Else Pre-Tensioners are the bare minimum you should get. 4. ,Height Adjustable Driver Seat with Adjustable Head Rests,. Higher Variant Cars may also provide Adjustable Steering.. But in basic cars height adjustable driver seat is a must to allow the driver a comfortable driving posture.. Also, though fixed head rests look good but correctly adjusted head rests are life-savers as they save your neck - literally- from whiplash in case of a nasty crash. 5. ,Day/ Night Rear View Mirror & Internally Adjustable ORVM,. Though simple sounding & not a glamorous feature.. But correctly adjusted ORVMs help reduce blind-spots & Day/ Night IRVM helps reduce glare at night which can be a real life-saver during night driving. 6. ,Rear Defogger,. A feature which you can't get retro-fitted without changing the entire rear glass and is a safety cum convenience feature.. A fogged up rear screen is not only irritating but also dangerous.. And a Defogger saves you the effort of cleaning it a million times a day with a cloth. 7. ,Music System with Bluetooth & Steering Mounted Controls,. Though thought of as a convenience feature is more of a safety feature as it allows you to keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road while taking care of all your car communication needs without you needing to pick up your phone.. Keep your major contacts in favorites and use the steering controls for phone calls & music control. It's a must-have safety feature in my opinion. After-Market music systems may look cool but their integration with on-steering controls is always suspect. 8. ,Rear Parking Sensors,. The purists might scoff at this & say that if you are a good driver you should know how to park without assistance. But with crowded roads & tricky parking spaces this is an assistance you will always use. If you get rear- parking camera too it's wonderful.. However you can always get it retro-fitted in 2–4k. 9. ,12V Power Adapter or USB Socket,. A must have.. I think all cars have this.. But if you get a USB Socket or both USB & 12V Power Adapter it's wonderful.. Sorts out your phone charging anxieties & allows you to hook up any gadget like vacuum cleaner/ tyre Inflator / air purifier / ambient lighting that you might need to add later to pimp up your ride. 10. ,Central Locking with Auto Door Lock & Front Power Windows,. Another safety cum convenience feature.. Self Explanatory.. If you don't get rear power windows it's alright.. Power Front Windows are critical.. Rear Windows would remain closed most of the time or be on Child-lock nevertheless.. Central Locking & Auto Door Locks are also essential in my opinion. Now, to round it off.. Here is a list of 10 could- have necessities which are like the icing on the cake.. Good if you get them with your car.. Even if you don't.. You can easily get them retro-fitted from the market later on.. But they too are essential IMHO 1. Fog Lights. 2. Blind Spot Mirrors. 3. Tyre Pressure Monitor System 4. Rear Parking Camera. 5. Stocked Medical Kit. 6. Foot Pump/ Tyre Inflator with Pressure Gauge. 7. Fire Extinguisher. 8. Gear Lock / Car Security Alarm System or Both 9. Jumper Cables & Towing Cable 10. Mobile Mount (In Case your car doesn't have a touchscreen.. And you would use your phone for navigation) Those are my lists.. Yours could Vary.. So What's on your List ??
