pedestrian protection compliance in swift Q&A Review

Which car of the Maruti Suzuki Swift, or Brezza are good in quality and stability?

When it comes to Maruti Suzuki, you can be completely assured of quality that the cars come with. While both the cars, Swift and Brezza offer top-notch quality and stability, here are some distinct features of both that will help you make a wise and informed decision. Swift It’s based on the new HEARTECT platform which means it is lighter yet robust, and retains its fun-to-drive nature. Based on my test drive, I can vouch for the fact that it stays well-planted on the road, and is very precise to handle. Safety is taken into great consideration with engine immobilizer, dual front airbags, pedestrian protection compliance, seat belts and seat belt reminder. Vitara Brezza Being an SUV, Brezza comes with a kerb weight of 1175~1210 Kg and a gross weight of 1680 Kg to offer great level stability. The safety features ,used in the Vitara Brezza, include: dual airbag, seat belt reminder, engine immobilizer, isofix (child seat restraint system), reverse parking sensors and high speed warning alert are assured to deliver enhanced safety. Do let us all know which among these two you finally choose!

Is the Maruti Suzuki Swift a good car to buy in India?

The Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most well-known and frequently bought on-road cars in India. Whether you’re driving or even taking a walk, I’m sure every second car that passes by is a Swift. Coming to the question, if it's a good car to buy or not - well the Maruti Suzuki Swift was launched in the year 2005, from there on, Maruti has built on multiple variants leading to the refreshed Maruti Swift 2019 model. The new Swift comes with a powerful 1.2L K-Series engine specifically designed to give the smoothest pickup possible along with an amazing driving experience. For both manual and automatic models, it comes with a mileage of ARAI 21.21 km/l. Apart from this, it packs multiple additional features like - a multi-information display, engine immobilizer, dual front airbags, pedestrian protection compliance, reverse parking sensors, a high-speed alert system and more. This being said it is a compact yet spacious car for a couple or a small family and a good choice of vehicle, depending on the constraint of your budget. Before buying a Maruti Suzuki car you’ve chosen, go down to your nearest deal/showroom and have yourself a Maruti Suzuki test drive. This will assure you that it’s the right car for you, in every way. As for the Swift, for most people, it’s a great car in a great price-range, but it won’t hurt to have a test drive, nonetheless.

Is the Maruti Suzuki Swift outdated?

No! Not at All! In fact, the 2019 model of the ,Maruti Suzuki ARENA Swift, was awarded the Indian Car of the Year 2019 Award. With this, Swift becomes the only car in history to win this award thrice (2006, 2012, and 2019). The latest model has a new design which is sporty and hands down amazing to look at. The new Swift houses a hexagonal grille with chrome inserts, projector headlamps with DRLs, LED tail lamps, and ORVMs. On the inside, it is more premium than ever before with a large number of latest features like the smartplay infotainment system with navigation, bluetooth connectivity, apple car play and android auto, voice command, and a flat-bottom steering with controls for media and calling. Other features include automatic climate control, cruise control, pollen filters, etc. You can read the entire feature list here. It comes with a powerful 1.2L VVT petrol engine which is capable of generating 83 hp of power and 115 Nm of torque and a 1.2L Diesel engine which can generate 74 hp of power and 190 Nm of torque. There also is an option to choose between manual and automatic transmission with a 5-speed gear box for both. It is also a BS 6 variant car, the latest emission norms as set by the Supreme Court of India. On Safety front, you get ABS with EBD and brake assist, reverse parking sensors with rear view assistance camera, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, dual front airbags, pedestrian protection compliance, and high-speed alert system to name a few. The new Swift promises a mileage of 22 kmpl in petrol and 28 kmpl for diesel. It is priced between 5-9 Lacs. But one thing is for sure, Maruti Suzuki ARENA Swift is not an easily replaceable hatchback. Ever since its inception in 2006, Swift has been among the most successful cars in the country with the likes of WagonR and Alto, which is considered to be the most-driven car in India. So, for all you know, Maruti Suzuki ARENA Swift is surely not outdated my dear friend!

Is a Maruti Suzuki Swift VXI a good car to buy?

I think it is a great car. One of my friends recently purchased ,Maruti Suzuki Swift VXI, and on asking him about its features, I was quite amazed to know that the hatchback offers several hi-tech features. Apart from this, the hatchback comes equipped with great safety features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, pedestrian protection compliance, isofix with child seat anchorages, seat belt reminder & buzzer, day and night adjustable IRVM, speed-sensitive automatic door lock, reverse parking sensors, and high-speed alert system. Since safety is something that should be strictly considered while buying a car, I think that Swift is a great pick owing to its safety features. However, you can visit your nearest showroom and know more about the all-new model of Swift and its price.
