I have a 2014 Ridgeline that has GPS troubles and Honda America NYC is refusing to repair. When you call them they will only advise their first names, and they have no supervisors you can speak with in the firm. Honda sold me a warranty for a couple thousand dollars that among other parts/ systems of the vehicles; total covered the cost to repair or replace the GPS system should it fail during the extended extra warranty time allowance. The gent who I spoke with , who is only identified by his first name Ricardo, (no last name) who has no one above him to refer this case within American Honda, and he flat out will not honor or allow terms of warranty to be maintained. No managers, no VP, no President etc. If you have been treated like dirt as I have been by this firm, known as Honda America, and know of a recourse for dealing with this sinister bunch from dealer to Headquarters, kindly share information with me as I seek to spearhead this effort to the nth degree. Wondeing if anyone else is having issues with their Honda Ridgeline backup camera. Lets make Honda aware of it if you are. "They seem not to know" , but so many people online are having same issues. Due to tailgate opening and closing my backup camera wires broke after 5 years.
Leased 2019 Odyssey. The drainage pipes in the roof have become blocked according to the Honda authorized shop and the water damaged harness controlling the doors. Initially the shop changed the motors under warranty and then switched to claiming water damage. Filed a claim with my insurance company and adjuster found no damage to the harness. After a month Honda graciously informed me that they will not be paying anything. Was calling for a week and leaving voicemails without any response. Their authorized repair shop offered to commit a fraud and use insurance money to replace the harness. Bottom line - this corporation that does not stand behind its' product, terrible customer service, has crooked dealers and shops. Stay away from Honda!!!!!!!!!!
Purchased a 2020 Honda Accord Touring, after about a years (10k miles) the car has developed an annoying clicking sound that comes from underneath the steering column, sounds like someone is typing on an old typewriter. Took the car to the dealer, showed them recordings of the noise, they also heard it, but the problem is intermittent and they were not able to fix it. They want to keep the car longer to troubleshoot but Honda won't provide a loaner/rental car. Customer is screwed over in the end on an almost new car with a factory and extended warranty through Honda. I have purchased 3 Hondas in the last 7 years, I AM NEVER GOING TO BUY ANOTHER HONDA. I will also discourage anyone from making the mistake of buying a car from a company that does not stand behind their products. Very disappointed!
