Wanted to check out a car for someone, so I decided to stop by the dealership as I was in the area. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with respected by the front desk. I inquired about at S 580 and was directed to the manager, Jeffrey Dodds. I let him know I was trying to get a better feel for the car and get that driving experience so I could better explain the feel to the person I was assisting in buying a car. Jeffrey educated me on the car's features, and I will say, I was very impressed with the car. The ride quality and performance of the S class was phenomenal. I am working with Jeffrey and I will continue to and send customers his way. His professionalism and experience go a long way and they ensure you are making the right decision when buying or leasing a high end car. Normally, I do not write reviews, but this dealership definitely deserves one along with one specific employee of theirs. I was extremely interested in a vehicle I saw online and filled out a form on Saturday night requesting more information about the vehicle and to see if it was still available. An employee by the name of Kari emailed me at night to inform me the vehicle was still available along with the rest of the information I requested. In the morning, I personally reached out to Kari at the dealership with my budget for the vehicle and how much I wanted to put down. Kari was extremely knowledgeable and seemed to be very personable on the phone compared to other (sales guys) that I have dealt with in the past at other dealerships. At no point did Kari even ask me to come to the dealership, try to push me in buying the vehicle or try to sell me on the vehicle. She was so nice and helpful in answering all my questions and I felt that she was the person I wanted to work with if I came to the dealership. I made a choice to take the drive to the dealership on my own because I just felt good inside about our conversation with Kari and how she was not being aggressive with trying to sell me the vehicle I really was interested in seeing. When I first arrived Kari had already pulled up the vehicle I was extremely interested in along with another that I was pondering on taking for a test drive. I could tell right away that the vehicle I saw online that I am now seeing in person was the vehicle for me! I wanted this vehicle, I fell in love with the vehicle the moment I saw it and stepped inside. Throughout the entire process, Kari was so nice, so helpful and provided world-class service to me. I do not like dealerships, waiting and I do not like sales people. But this experience at this specific Mercedes was much different. Kari treated me like I was part of her family. Giving me advice on a variety amount of things that really helped me make my decision to purchase the vehicle. Throughout the process, she constantly brought me water, checked on me, had good conversations about the warranties and just the overall experience was remarkable. I am honestly shocked by the experience I had, because I have never in my life been treated the way Kari treated me in her dealership at Mercedes in San Diego. The professionalism, passion for wanting to help her clients, providing world-class service and just the ability to treat her clients like family is what was key in myself purchasing a vehicle here at Mercedes in San Diego. I have had several questions about my vehicle and the different features and Kari has responded so quick and addressed all my questions that even "after the sale," she still treated me like family, still had the same passion for wanting to help me in any questions I have. Kari, thank you for providing me with world-class service, thank you for your passion and extraordinary knowledge about the Mercedes Brand and my vehicle, thank you for representing Mercedes in a way that I have never seen before and thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me find the car of my dreams. This car is me, everybody loves it and words cannot express how happy and satisfied I am with my vehicle and with working with you. If anyone is reading this review and deciding to work with Mercedes Benz of San Diego, look no further, call them and ask for Kari!! Trust me, you will never regret working with her and this dealership. They worked together as a team to get the numbers to where we could agree on a deal for my vehicle and again words cannot express how appreciative I am of all your help Kari, you are a true blessing and anyone who gets the opportunity to work with you will understand this review and how amazing of a person you are and how knowledgeable you are of the Mercedes Brand.
