British carmaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is suffering from a huge parts shortage in the UK as its workshops are facing a severe crisis and are running out of courtesy cars. According to Car Dealer Magazine, around 10,000 cars are awaiting parts all around the United Kingdom with half of them being stuck off the road at dealerships. Quirky Japanese carmaker Mitsuoka has been reskinning various other cars into its own designs and the new fourth generation Mitsuoka Viewt will make the jump to European-spec Toyota Yaris after being previously based on the Nissan March. According to a report by The Edge, Sime Darby Bhd-controlled Inokom Corp Sdn Bhd is currently at the tail end of contract assembly negotiations with China’s Chery Automobile Co Ltd. The Chinese carmaker is planning to make a return to Malaysia in 2023.
