Three months after its global debut, Naza Italia unveiled the 2022 Maserati Grecale in Malaysia as the Italian Trident’s second SUV model. Slotting below the Maserati Levante, the Grecale is available here with three engine variants. Maserati has just unveiled a new model in its SUV line-up, the Maserati Grecale. It slots below the Maserati Levante, offering a more compact package and goes against the Porsche Macan. It’s said to be inspired by the Maserati MC20 with design elements taken from it and adapted into an SUV. Like the MC20, the Grecale now takes on a vertical rather than a horizontal aspect, adapted here for the requirements of an SUV. Despite the hybrid name, it's really a mild-hybrid which means it can't accelerate from standstill on electric power alone.
