The Honda Jazz might be a sorely missed name among fans but its replacement, the Honda City Hatchback has been a healthy seller for Honda Malaysia. That said, the first-generation Honda Jazz was a game-changer when it was introduced in 2001. The Jazz would go on to become a worldwide smash hit but over in its home market, the Fit as it was called in Japan would go on to be a literal superstar for Honda. It won numerous awards including a sweep of two of Japan’s major car of the year awards in 20

The Honda Jazz is a model that needs no introduction here in Malaysia. Over its 3 generations, it has earned a solid reputation as a practical, reliable, and well-designed hatchback that meets the diverse needs of countless Malaysian buyers. Whether you're a young executive or an untroubled retiree, there’s a good chance that the Honda Jazz is a great purchase option, and one that will hold its value even after many years of service. Unfortunately, the Honda Jazz nameplate is no longer available

The Honda Jazz was the undisputed king of the compact hatchback right up to the point that it was unfortunately discontinued in the Malaysian market. Its sales figures struck fear into the hatch of any other B-segment hatchback. Spanning 3 generations here, the final GK Jazz proved to be the most successful before it was replaced by the Honda City Hatchback. Jazz sales over the 3 generations totalled just over 100,000 units with 80,000 of those being locally assembled. That gave it a market shar

Let’s get one thing clear about vehicle ownership. Buying a car and maintaining a car are two very different aspects of the proprietorship experience… and the latter is something plenty of us are guilty of not factoring into the equation which can then become an expensive sum. Firstly, just because you can afford to, doesn’t mean you have to buy the most expensive car you can afford on your salary or budget… lambang ‘H’ be damned. Secondly, pricier cars usually mean pricier maintenance as well.

While its Southeast Asian neighbours offer the Honda City Hatchback, Singapore is the only market in the region that offers the fourth-generation Honda Jazz and just recently, the facelift has been introduced in the island state. Fully imported (CBU) from Japan, the Singapore-spec Jazz facelift is available in three variants: Crosstar e:HEV 1.5 Monotone – SGD 145,999 (~RM 484k) Crosstar e:HEV 1.5 Dual Tone – SGD 146,999 (~RM 487k) Luxe e:HEV 1.5 – SGD 147,999 (~RM 490k) The Jazz facelift went on

First launched in 2017, the Honda City (GM7) and (GP5) Jazz Sport Hybrid i-DCD variants were Honda’s answer for buyers who wanted class-leading fuel efficiency and zippy power in a relatively affordable vehicle. At launch the GM7 City and GP5 Jazz Hybrid were the most affordable hybrid vehicles on sale in Malaysia, crucially dipping under the RM 100k mark, priced at RM 89.2k and RM 87.5k respectively. UPDATE for July 2023: For a limited time period, CARSOME is offering an additional 1+1 year warranty for selected units of Honda Jazz. Find out more here. ----------------------------- Having sampled the Honda City Hatchback recently – which no doubt is a superb product – we felt a lingering feeling, that though better, it has lost some of the charm of the preceding Honda Jazz (GK) delivered in spades. For one beyond, its cutesy looks, the GK Jazz was a giant killer in terms of space and packagi

Fling a pebble at any random direction and you're going to ding the paint off a Toyota Corolla Cross or Honda HR-V. As plenty as they are, not everyone are keen on adding more of them on Malaysian roads and that's fair; the gaps will be filled by reconditioned cars such as this 2022 Honda Jazz Crosstar. And this is priced somewhere along the line of the two cars named above. This lightly-used unit has found its way into Malaysia courtesy of reconditioned car dealers, Prominent Motor Sdn. Bhd. Cr
