The 2024 Perodua Axia (D74A) has won the Public Areas and Transportation Products award at the Malaysia Good Design Award, organised by the Malaysian Design Council (MRM) yesterday. Perodua's expansion of its export business now includes Bangladesh, with the Malaysian carmaker inking a partnership with ex-Proton partners PHP Motors. One of the few markets where Perodua is being exported is Brunei and its distributor has recently teased the imminent arrivals of the Perodua Axia and Perodua Alza on social media. Perodua has issued a statement concerning Daihatsu's recent announcement on the company's new additional procedural irregularities that has also affected the Axia, Alza, Aruz, Ativa, and Bezza.
