While speaking at the launch of the 2023 Mazda CX-30 CKD, Executive Chairman of Bermaz Auto Berhad, Dato Seri Ben Yeoh said that the backlog of orders for Mazda now numbers up to 7,000 units across all models. Toyota has confirmed that the company will discontinue the Mazda 2-based Toyota Yaris in the US by this year.
