Roughly a week after the 2022 Volvo XC60 Recharge T8 was teased on the company's social media platforms, Volvo Car Malaysia has since opened registration of interest (ROI) for the model. However, its price list and definite launch date are yet to be announced. PT Garuda Mataram Motor (GMM), as Audi's authorised distributor in Indonesia has plans to open a local-assembly (CKD) plant in the country, reports our sister site Autofun.co.id. Stefan Hutahayan, a branch manager for PT GMM, shared that the company has "long had plans" to open said plant, which will be used to produce CKD Audi cars there.
