In a bid to accelerate its electrification efforts and catch up with rivals, Mazda is set to launch its first dedicated electric vehicle (EV) model in 2027, according to CEO Masahiro Moro. Bermaz Auto, the parent company of Mazda distributor Bermaz Motor, has confirmed to its shareholders and partner banks that it will be launching the Mazda MX-30 EV in Malaysia.
