The Proton X50's and export-market Proton X70's Global Engine Petrol 3 (GEP3) 1.5-litre turbocharged engines will soon be built in Malaysia, according to Sapura Industrial Berhad's (SIB) latest annual report. We previously reported that the new CKD 2020 Proton X70 has also joined the ranks of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), now photos of the X70 in its full police uniform has surfaced on the internet courtesy of our friends over at Funtastiko. As the Honda Civic patrol cars slowly make their presence known to the country, the X70 will soon be giving the Civic backup as they look ready to be unleashed onto the roads. Geely has just revealed the pricing of its latest SUV, the Geely Haoyue. The Haoyue is priced between CNY 108k to 148k (RM 65k to 89k).
