Proton will soon launch a new SUV with an updated design, confirmed Deputy CEO Roslan Abdullah at a media event yesterday evening. Although Roslan didn’t mention the model, it’s clear that he was referring to the new 2024 Proton X70 facelift. The new 2024 Proton X70 will likely adopt a new front-end design similar to the Chinese market Geely Boyue Pro. However, finer design details will be adapted to meet local taste, probably mimicking the design of the Proton X90’s grille. Also read: 2024 Prot

Another shot of the 2024 Proton X70 facelift has floated online courtesy of Facebook user Gan Bock Khim, this time showing us a clearer lok at the updated model's front end. It all but confirms that the new X70 will have a front end that's inspired by the Geely Boyue Pro, but this picture also shows that it will adopt the new family grille that's on the X90. The only difference so far is that here it's all black; expect chrome enhancements to come on the production model. Speaking of production

2024 might finally be the year everyone stops asking Proton when will Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (AA/CP) support be available. At the recent Proton S70 media drive, Proton revealed that the car connectivity feature would be making its P1 debut on its next model which is planned to be launched this year. Of course, the carmaker was mum in revealing what this upcoming model is but it could likely be the Proton X70 facelift which was spotted in camouflage on our roads. The X70 was introduced ba
