Since its launch in October, Honda Malaysia has received over 11,100 bookings for the all-new 2020 Honda City! The company has also delivered 5,800 units to customers nationwide.
The all-new 2020 Honda City continues to stand strong as the preferred B-segment sedan amongst Malaysians in its fifth-generation.
Power comes from a new 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine mated to a CVT that produces 121 PS and 145 Nm. The car is currently offered in 3 variants; V, E and S.
We are still awaiting the launch of the top-spec Honda City RS e:HEV that will be powered by a new i-MMD powertrain that produces 109 PS and 253 Nm. So, expect the number of bookings to grow further come early 2021.
VSA (Honda’s version of VSC) is offered as standard on all variants and even the base-spec S boasts 4 airbags while the V variant gets 6 airbags. Only the RS will come offered with a full suite of Honda Sensing ADAS.
From the mid-spec E-variant up, the City also gets an 8-inch infotainment system that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Currently, Honda Malaysia has extended its All-New City 12.12 Special Sales to the 31st of December 2020. The sale offers customers who purchase the City E and S variant rebates worth RM 2,000 on top of the current sales tax exemption valid until the end of the year.
