11-seater 2020 Kia Grand Carnival to be launched in Malaysia

There’s more to look forward to from Kia this year, not only is Naza Kia getting ready to launch the Kia Seltos, they are also set to introduce an 11-seater Kia Grand Carnival LX Flexi. Basically, it’s a Grand Carnival with an extra row of seats and by the looks of it, the MPV will be launching in Malaysia very soon!
A video of the 11-seater MPV was uploaded by Kia showroom in Sri Kembangan. The Grand Carnival LX Flexi fits 11 with a 2+3+3+3 seating arrangement.
The video clearly shows how the familiar Grand Carnival’s seats flexibly converts itself to seat 11 at the expense of the rear boot space.
From what we can see, the video also shows that despite the lack of boot space with the fourth row deployed, there seems to be sufficient legroom for the last row passengers.
According to international spec sheets, the Grand Carnival LX Flexi shares the same 2.2-litre diesel engine as its 8-seater siblings, while the exterior and dimensions of the MPV remain the same.
The 8-seater Kia Grand Carnival currently on sale in Malaysian markets was facelifted in 2019. The MPV is on offer in 2 variants with a starting price of RM 155,888.
