Naza Euro Motors has quietly launched its 2020 DS7 SUV which is now fully imported (CBU) from France. The CBU unit replaces the previously locally-assembled (CKD) units that were introduced to the local market in June 2019.

The DS7 SUV CKD was priced at RM 199,888 however, now that it is CBU, it gets slapped on with hefty duties which skyrocketed the selling price to RM 259,888 (OTR without insurance). That is a RM 60,000 increase.

Specification on the CBU remains identical to the CKD you get the Performance Line exterior pack which adds some black touches around the car and 19-inch Onyx Black alloy wheels. The swivelling full LED headlamps and LED taillamps are standard features here.

The cabin is furnished with Alcantara upholstery, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 14-speakers Focal Electra audio system, wireless charging tray, a powered tailgate and a standing B.R.M R180 analogue clock on the centre dash.

What is new is the 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system (previously 8-inch) that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, MirrorLink and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Under the hood, you’ll find a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder THP petrol engine pushing out 165 PS and 240 Nm linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission that drives the front wheels. The same powertrain is also found in the Peugeot 3008 and 5008.

Buyers will only get to choose from 2 colour options – Nera Black or Pearl White. Every purchase comes with a 5-Years/120,000 km warranty, 24-hour Roadside Assistance and complimentary SkyLounge access at Subang airport.
