2020 Honda City Hatchback rendering

The Honda City Hatchback is about to make its official world debut and the IndianAutosBlog.com decided to make a rendering what the hatch would look like. The City Hatchback will most likely be replacing the Honda Jazz in emerging markets, Malaysia included, once it makes its debut.

In the rendering, IAB’s digital artist Shoeb Kalania envisioned the City Hatchback as a 5-door hatch that will share the same styling cues as the new generation 2020 Honda City Sedan up until the B-pillar and is completed with sportier tail lights and a sporty bumper.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1685525140735-0'); });

The City Hatchback will ride on the same platform of the City Sedan and will most likely share the same powertrain as well; a 1.5-litre i-VTEC and 1.0-litre VTEC Turbo petrol engines. Transmission options will likely be the same with a CVT and 5-speed manual to offer. But the Malaysian market will only be getting the hatch in 1.5-litre engine and CVT form.

Will you wait for the City Hatchback or go with the Honda Jazz?

There isn’t a time in memory that doesn’t involve staring at cars. After discovering the excitement of watching Schumacher vs Hakkinen, Formula 1 became a major part of life. The love for cars and F1 ultimately led to a job with CAR Magazine. The untimely death of the magazine meant a hiatus from cars at lifestyle women’s magazine Marie Claire before another opportunity came knocking again.
