The all-new Honda City RS is set to make its global debut in Malaysia soon. It will be the world's first Honda City to feature the company's latest 2-motor full-hybrid i-MMD drivetrain.
We’ve driven the car, albeit for a short while and all photos or videos of the car’s interior are embargoed until the car is launched. You can read our review here.
The video above demonstrates the Honda City RS' Sensing feature at work.
As explained in our review, the City RS’ Sensing features an upgraded, wider operating angle monocular camera, which allows its FCW (Forward Collision Warning) and CMBS (Collision Mitigation Braking System) and ACC (adaptive cruise control) to cover a wider area than the Civic, CR-V, or Accord.
However, the City RS’ Sensing lacks the trio’s Low Speed Follow function. It still gets LaneWatch blind spot detecting camera though.
Honda Malaysia says the City RS will offer the most complete safety package in its class.
The video also shows that the City RS gets aluminium pedals. Whether this is an optional accessory or a standard item is left to be seen.
Prices have yet to be announced but interested buyers who place a booking now will get a RM 1,000 service voucher.
