UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has quietly updated the price to service the Toyota Vios, bumping up the cost to maintain the B-segment sedan up several hundred Ringgit.

Previously, it cost RM 4,010 to maintain the Toyota Vios over a 5-year/100,000-km period, but the recent price increase has bumped that figure up to RM 4,242 – an RM 232 increase.

As part of the “new normal”, UMWT has also included a disinfection process that costs RM 14.11 at each service interval. Labour charges have also seen a small increase in price.

Other than that, prices of service items remain unchanged.
