The long-wheelbase version of the Audi A7 (called the A7L) has been spied in China, undisguised. More than just a wheelbase extension, the A7L actually differs slightly from the regular A7 in that it is a sedan with a trunk, instead of a fastback.
The A7L is still derived from Audi's MLB platform, and will be manufactured by SAIC-VW in China. Power wise, expect the A7L to use existing engine options from the regular A7, which are the 2.0 and 3.0 TFSI. Topping the range will be a 55TFSI flagship.

Out of the box, the A7 is already a very handsome car. To my eyes, stretching the wheelbase has not diluted its elegance in any way. What do you think? Would you want a limo-A7, or would you just plump for a full-fat A8?
