Talk about oopsies - an image of the G01 2021 BMW X3 facelift (LCI) was prematurely featured on BMW Spain’s website. It has been taken down but you know what they say, “Once it’s on the internet, it’s there forever.”

Not much can be seen in the photo as it predominantly shows off the side profile of the X3 LCI. The headlamps appear to feature redesigned graphics and the front grilles look ever so slightly larger.

The taillamps appear to be of a darker shade, similar to the G30 BMW 5 Series LCI. The X3 seems to be given a new green exterior colour, with 2-tone wheels. And that’s about it from the leaked photo.

We expect the powertrain options to be carried forward from the pre-facelift model, with a range of 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre turbocharged engines paired to an 8-speed automatic as well as the option of xDrive all-wheel drive system.

Perhaps some new interior technologies will be featured, but we’ll wait for the official reveal to confirm. The G01 2021 BMW X3 facelift (LCI) is slated to be revealed in the coming weeks.
