While Perodua did not disclose the output figures of their Ativa just yet, in Japan this engine makes 98 PS and 140 Nm of torque. The engine may or may not be tuned and adapted to suit our local usages such as fuel quality and driving conditions.

Perodua has, however, disclosed their claimed Ativa fuel consumption figure of 18.9 km/L which translates to 5.29L/100 km. This puts the Ativa to be more fuel-efficient than both the Perodua Aruz and Proton X50.

Fuel Consumption  (claimed)

2021 Perodua Ativa 1.0T

5.3L/100 km

2021 Perodua Aruz 1.5L

6.4L/100 km

2021 Proton X50 1.5T MPI

6.5L/100 km

2021 Proton X50 1.5 TGDi

The Ativa is touted to have a fuel tank capacity of 36 litres and with some quick maths, it works out to a theoretical range of 680 km per full tank of fuel. That is roughly the distance from Johor Bahru to George Town, Penang.

An interesting observation is that the Perodua Myvi is claimed to be more fuel-efficient than the Ativa. This could be due to the Eco Idle function (auto start/stop) available on the Myvi which helps conserve some precious fuel.

Perodua Fuel Consumption (claimed)

2021 Perodua Ativa 1.0T

5.3L/100 km

2021 Perodua Myvi 1.5L 4.9L/100 km
2021 Perodua Bezza 1.3L 4.5L/100 km
2021 Perodua Axia 1.0L 4.6L/100 km

Estimated prices for the Perodua Ativa is between RM62,500 to RM72,600 (OTR without insurance & SST).
