It looks like Naza Eastern Motor, the new distributor of Suzuki models in Malaysia, is gearing up to launch the 2021 Suzuki Jimny in Malaysia real soon.
As seen in these photos, this Jungle Green example of the Jimny is seen parked beside the 2021 Suzuki Swift Sport – the latter was launched in Malaysia earlier this year.

As a brief recap, this is the all-new fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny, codenamed JB74W. It is powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine that does 102 PS and 130 Nm, mated either to a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic. The latter will be the only option for Malaysia.

In terms of pricing, while Naza has yet to announce any figures, don’t expect the Suzuki Jimny to be cheap. Since 2019, recond car dealers in Malaysia have begun selling the Jimny, with prices ranging between RM 160k to RM 200k. When Naza starts selling the Suzuki Jimny, we expect prices to be in the same ballpark as the reconditioned units.
