UK is the first market in Europe to launch the 2022 Ora Funky Cat. The Funky Cat is essentially the same as the Good Cat, but with some tweaks for Europe.

Folks in the UK have to fork out GBP 30,495 (~RM 168k) for the Funky Cat, and that’s after the UK government’s Plug-In Car Grant.

Power comes from a front-mounted electric motor that does 171 PS and 250 Nm – more powerful than its Thai counterpart. The electric motor is juiced by a 48-kWh battery pack, allowing for a 193-mile range (310 km).

It takes 40 minutes to quick charge the UK-spec Funky Cat from 15 percent to 80 percent via an 80-kW DC charger. If a DC fast charger isn’t available, the Funky Cat can also be charged via regular AC charging, which takes 5-6 hours to charge from 15 percent to 80 percent. It offers a CCS charging port.

Standard equipment for the UK-spec Funky Cat is rather generous, encompassing features like LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, 360-degree camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, as well as dual 10.25-inch screens, with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Colour options for the Funky Cat include the signature Nebula Green, as well as Starry Black, Mars Red, and Aurora Green. Depending on colour, the Funky Cat features a black or white contrasting roof.

Ora UK is backing the Funky Cat with a 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty, while the battery pack is covered by an 8-year / 100,000 miles (160,934 km) warranty.
