Porsche Malaysia, represented by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), has launched the 2022 Porsche Macan facelift. Prices for the fully-imported (CBU) Porsche Macan start from RM 433,154 for the Macan, RM 623,593 for the Macan S and RM 786,232 for the Macan GTS.

Previously, the Macan was priced at RM 439,351 while the Macan S went for RM 602,729.
For greater clarity, this is the second facelift for the Porsche Macan; the first facelift made its global debut in 2018 and arrived here in 2019, the original Macan was unveiled in 2013 and was subsequently launched here in 2014.

Porsche has updated the Macan with a redesigned nose with an inlay in the exterior colour emphasizes the car’s width, complementing a new 3D structural element to give the car a more imposing look at the front.
LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and Sport Design exterior mirrors are now standard on all models.

Inside, the physical tactile buttons have been replaced by touch-sensitive buttons. The steering wheel is adopted from the current 911 model and the gear lever has been shortened.

The 2022 Porsche Macan facelift is powered by a redeveloped 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, delivering 265 PS/400 Nm, or an increase of 13 PS/30 Nm compared to the pre-facelift.

The Macan S packs a new 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine that produces 380 PS/520 Nm, 26 PS/40 Nm more than before. This new powerplant propels the Macan S from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, onto a top speed of 259 km/h.

As for the flagship Macan GTS, the 2.9-litre V6 bi-turbo engine delivers 440 PS/550 Nm. Century sprint is completed in 4.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 272 km/h. All engines are coupled to a 7-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system.

The Premium Package comes as standard for the Macan and Macan S, with additional comfort and luxury features such as 14-way electric comfort seats with memory package, Power Steering Plus, Park Assist including reversing camera and surround view, automatic dimming interior and exterior mirrors, and Bose Surround Sound System.
