Have you heard of the Nissan GT-R reaching 631 hp? Obviously, it can only be achieved by means of modification. This magic tunning is done by Litchfield Motors, a refitting factory based on the UK. Recently they discovered another target to play with - Toyota Supra.
Undoubtedly, the 2020 Toyota Supra is very eye-catching. But when it comes to the engine, many fans are disappointed because the new Supra not only adopts the BMW Z4 platform but can only gear up to 335 hp.
That's why Litchfield Motors takes action.
The 2020 Supra is being turned from the inside, getting a new ECU, further reformed Supra's engine system as well as upgraded chassis and suspension. After readjustment, the new Toyota Supra could explode 420 hp with a maximum torque of 597 N.m. For your information, the original Supra can generates 335 hp (250 kW) and 369 LB ft (500 Nm) on top.
Litchfield Motors revealed that Supra could actually output 376 HP of maximum horsepower and 528 Nm of torsion, which meant that the B58 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine from BMW (BMW) now have about 50 more horsepower after a simple ECU adjustment.
You think that's it? NO! In addition to re-tuning the ECU, they are working with Milltek and Akrapovic to develop an upgraded exhaust system that will push the horsepower over the edge of 450 hp.
