Shared by our friends over at Careta, these two pictures depict the interior of the upcoming Saga R3 Edition. The black interior is broken up by yellow highlights - not unlike the quick-selling Saga 35th Anniversary Edition - and there's also a leather-wrapped steering wheel and 'R3 Limited Edition' stitching on the seats, hinting at its relative sportiness.

In 2019, Proton Chief Designer, Azlan Othman mentioned of the “R3 Sports”, Lifestyle” and “Design” packages that could be offered to Proton cars.

Some have said that the R3 Sports package might offer a 30% boost in performance, but how far that's true is still unconfirmed. R3 is to Proton what Gazoo Racing is to Toyota, and they've created some amazing cars that we hope makes a return someday - maybe 2021?
