It's been a spyshot-filled day for us today, so here's another: the 2021 Citroen DS3 Crossback and 2021 Peugeot 508 have been spied testing yet again. Notably, this is the first time both models have been spotted testing together.

Recall that Berjaya Auto Alliance Sdn Bhd (BAASB) now controls Groupe PSA brands in Malaysia, and among their first launches is touted to be the 508 and Peugeot 2008 SUV. 

If that happens anytime soon, Malaysia will very likely be the first country in the ASEAN region to launch the D-segment sedan. Upon its launch, the 508 will square up against the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and Volkswagen Passat.

As for the funky Citroen, its fate isn't too definite. Unlike with Peugeot, BAASB only took on the after-sales service part of the Citroen and DS brands - and not distribution rights. This may very well be just a training unit, seeing as Groupe PSA has a regional training centre in Petaling Jaya.
